Members wayner123 Posted June 16, 2007 Members Report Posted June 16, 2007 Thanks to all who helped me out. Once I got started it wasn't that hard to accomplish. Let me all know what you think. It is a thick strap, because it goes on a Panerai which is a huge watch. The straps for a Panerai are usually 4-6mm thick. Anyways here are the other thousand words: Quote

Leather Bum Posted June 20, 2007 Report Posted June 20, 2007 Wow, that looks really cool, Wayne! I'm not even sure how that sort of thing is done. . . Quite nice! It would also be neat to see it with the watch. . . L'Bum Quote
Members Cowboy Crafts Online Posted June 20, 2007 Members Report Posted June 20, 2007 looks really good. would like to see it with the watch Quote
Ambassador pete Posted June 20, 2007 Ambassador Report Posted June 20, 2007 how exactly did you make it? what is underneath it and how is it shaped, formed, adhered, etc? pea-aire' Quote
Members mulefool Posted June 26, 2007 Members Report Posted June 26, 2007 Wow, that's really nice. I'm wondering as well how you did that. I had an order for a watch strap once and I said never again. It was so dang SMALL, it was really hard to work with, course I'm used to big stuff. That's just real nice and unique, I've never seen anything like it. Quote
Members landm42006 Posted July 29, 2010 Members Report Posted July 29, 2010 How was this strap made? Or since this is an old thread, how does anyone think this was made. Looks to me like the leather was cased, and then formed around a filler strip of somekind. THoughts? Quote
