Well it finally happened. My first real project.A Lady's shoulder bag/sling bag. I just have to make a strap for it.

Nice work but i think a thinner thread would look better as present is a bit overpowering, Like the way the front and back bend back over the sides

Mi omputer is ot ood at speeling , it's not me

VERY nice for a first real project I must say. I like the thick thread myself and chrisash do you not think that the front closure would need it to balance it out some?

I liked the thick thread as the 3 piece gusset had that zig zaggy type pattern so the thicker thread showed it off.
I just continued on with it

Great job. There is a lot going on.

I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with.

Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day.
