daniel86 Report post Posted October 3, 2018 I used Krylon metallic for my project once, looked quite good (but it was used for a woodwork). From what I found, it could be used for a leather, yet I'm not sure.
billybopp Report post Posted October 3, 2018 Tandy's eco-flo waterstain is a pretty decent looking metalic-ish gold color. I think it is designed to be an additive to other colors to give them gold fleck, but it has worked well as a stand-alone for me. - Bill

immiketoo Report post Posted October 3, 2018 Now that I am home, here are a few things I've used the gold paint on. Stuff is from a few years ago (2015) and they're all still holding up well. Its not dye, but it works quite well. The only think is you need a few coats to kill the transparency of it.
Nightshade Report post Posted October 12, 2018 I've used Testors acrylic model paint for metallics. Just dont go too heavy.
robs456 Report post Posted October 18, 2018 Jacquard True Gold. The best for flexibility...that I've seen. It's for airbrush but I've used brush for leather.
