Marjolein

Hi from the Netherlands

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I've been a member for ages and learned a lot from everyone here.
I thought it was time to introduce myself.
My name is Marjolein and I'm from the Netherlands.  I am a saddle fitter (english saddles) and leather working/carving is mainly a hobby, sometimes I sell something I made.

Some of the projects I've done:

Thanks!
I wanted to come to Elwats but my daughter was born three months ago and it was just a bit to soon to travel with her.

Leuk werk, Marjolein! How long have you been working with leather? The carving and tooling on these pieces is superb.

I started 8 years ago with making bridles and repairing saddles. 6 years ago I started 'tooling' with Tandy's starter kit and I used Tandy's videos and youtube to teach myself. Due to lack of time I haven't done much the last 2 years, but I'm trying to find the time to start again.
