Welders Arm Guard 2020

Recommended Posts

Here is a pattern for those Welders Arm Pads. Pipeline Welders need something on their off side arm to protect them from the heat of the pipe and the sparks that burn up their shirts and arm. I tried to find some help a couple of years ago to make some of these. Well, I was told to build my own, so here it is. Someone else might want some help. I've tried several and this one is the easiest to build and works good.

Thanks for the share. I ain't a pipeline, but I can see this being useful in structure welding too.

I've got a couple original sets.  Your extension sure fills the bill.  I've spent too much time in the ditch with gas and water lines.  Did a lot of repair work after the Rapid City Flood, burned up a bunch of Wrangler shirts and Carhartt jackets.

Thanks for sharing the template.  I have a friend that is a welder and I bet he would appreciate having one of these.

That link is no longer valid. When I click it, I get an "unavailable " message.

This is from the original post, created by Mark.  I just saved and reposted.  Hopefully you can access this one.

Is it possible to have this pattern shared again. The link is saying it is unavailable. We have a customer looking for an welding armguard and this looks like it would do the trick.

Thanks much!
