Members mwcondit Posted January 5, 2020 Members Report Posted January 5, 2020 (edited) Here is a pattern for those Welders Arm Pads. Pipeline Welders need something on their off side arm to protect them from the heat of the pipe and the sparks that burn up their shirts and arm. I tried to find some help a couple of years ago to make some of these. Well, I was told to build my own, so here it is. Someone else might want some help. I've tried several and this one is the easiest to build and works good. Welders Arm Guard by Mark Condit 2020.pdf Edited January 5, 2020 by mwcondit added photos Quote

Members Jarhead44706 Posted January 5, 2020 Members Report Posted January 5, 2020 Thanks for the share. I ain't a pipeline, but I can see this being useful in structure welding too. Quote

Your extension sure fills the bill. I've spent too much time in the ditch with gas and water lines. Did a lot of repair work after the Rapid City Flood, burned up a bunch of Wrangler shirts and Carhartt jackets. Quote
Members Pauls Leather Posted July 23, 2020 Members Report Posted July 23, 2020 Thanks for sharing the template. I have a friend that is a welder and I bet he would appreciate having one of these. Quote

Members G2Gilly Posted November 1, 2022 Members Report Posted November 1, 2022 Hi all, new to this craft. Just curious what kind of leather would be best for this project? Quote
Members Lazy3LeatherCo Posted January 10, 2023 Members Report Posted January 10, 2023 Is it possible to have this pattern shared again. The link is saying it is unavailable. We have a customer looking for an welding armguard and this looks like it would do the trick. Thanks much! Lucy Quote

Members ThisIsMyFirstRodeo Posted January 8 Members Report Posted January 8 Do these offer any wrist support, or are they just forearm protection? Quote
