CFM Frodo Posted April 18, 2020 CFM Report Posted April 18, 2020 I made this ...not dyed, Or stamped Each coaster gets the MSGO stamp and of course everything gets a dye job Question is. what would you charge for a custom coaster set ? I am thinking $35,00 plus shipping thoughts? Quote
Members rleather Posted April 18, 2020 Members Report Posted April 18, 2020 10.00 for the holder plus 5.00 per coaster. Of course you would not sell the holder separate, just the breaking down each item. If you want to offer free shipping (IMHO just a gimmick but people like it) add an extra 1.00 per coaster to cover the cost. Frodo if you don't already have one I would get a stamp for American Gun Owners or something similar so it would not limit you to just your state. You have a great idea, it may be out there, but I have not seen any with the written out 2nd amendment. I would get it on Etsy and Ebay, your gonna sell them. Thanks for the post, it's Sat and I need coffee and to get out in the shop. Your idea's are inspiring my friend. Quote
Members chrisash Posted April 18, 2020 Members Report Posted April 18, 2020 (edited) First I would work out the leather cost including delivery to you quite a few Sq Foot used in those coasters Then the time taken to make the coasters and base After that you need to allow for advertising and profit I would imagine you would also need to smooth and treat the edges and inside plus seal them against liquid spillage Edited April 18, 2020 by chrisash Quote

Members Bert51 Posted April 18, 2020 Members Report Posted April 18, 2020 (edited) I think a lot of people would be very happy to have a set of these coasters on their bar, I know I would and I don't own guns any more. Bert. Edited April 18, 2020 by Bert51 Quote

Members rburson Posted April 18, 2020 Members Report Posted April 18, 2020 You can buy that piece of leather all ready die cut pretty cheap cuts waste and labor down. I make some using a laser and it keeps waste down to nothing . Even with a clicker die you will have considerable waste. Quote
