Thanks again

Alex, I just had a look at your arty things link - very nice work there, my friend. The forged blades are well done, simple and clean designs.:specool:

Cheers, I'm at the beginner stage of making knives and judging by your forge looking profile picture I assume you know much more about this than me. To be honest the main reason I started leatherwork 7 years ago was so I could eventually do scabbards and quivers and medieval things, I mostly post Western stuff here but that has never been my main interest. Finally set up my forge last year so playing catch up in terms of skills and it will be a while before I feel as comfortable making knives as I am with leather! I'm certainly no blacksmith at the moment.

Hi Alex,      I'm a full time working  harness maker in the UK,   tooling leather is not my thing and I usually skip by it as it doesnt do a lot for me but in this case, I've looked at the braces you've made and safe to say this piece of work has impressed me,   top job, and where credit is due, you'd make the top professionals sit up and take note at the detail in these proving yet again, leatherwork from the UK is a hard one to beat.

Wow, you even tooled the belt loops!  Just really super detailed and amazing work.  And you pretty much said it already, but I'll say it here:  It will difficult to find anyone who would be willing to pay what is due for a functional piece of leather artwork of this magnitude.  It'll just be a work of art and your passion will show through and leave it at that.

Beautiful work overall. But that is the most impressive bar grounding work I have seen. Thank you for sharing.

Great photography to boot.
