FOR SALE (QTY 2) Two Royal Perforating machines (Broguing and gimping / pinking machines), with tables and motors. One machine is a free arm model and the other has an attached table for consistent hole spacing, and pinking operations for decorative work on shoes and similarly detailed leather work. About 20 single hole collets (punches) are included. Custom collets of various patterns can be me ordered from Campbell-Randal. Both machines are in good working condition and come with tables and motors. The machine with the metal platform/work top has an attachment that thin cardboard spools off and under the perforating punch to protect it from impacting the anvil …

Looking to split a leather belt tab so I can insert a piece of cotton webbing into it. I’d like the split to be about 1.5” deep into the tab and then reverse the tab out of the machine. Will a hand crank splitter like a Master Tools splitter accomplish this? I’ve been looking on YouTube but I haven’t seen anyone reverse a piece of leather out of the splitter. Everything I see only shows a piece of leather being fully split. Anyone have any advice? Thank you!

Guys & gals I'm looking at a 1.5ton manual clicker press. My question: Will a 1.5ton manual clicker press cut out a 10" x 4" wallet back? Or is this wishful thinking? Thanks. Any & all help will be appreciated.

I recently acquired a Manufacturers Supply Co. 10a skiver. The previous owner kept it in great shape and there's little I need to do it besides wiping the dust off. It came with an extra bell knife, grinding wheels, two presser feet and an extra drive belt. I was hoping to find a manual on the machine but so far no luck. Does anyone here have one or one from another manufacturer that is close? I'd also like to get a couple more presser feet but not sure what will fit this machine. I appreciate your feed back

We recently purchased a 130 Watt CO2 laser. It has opened up new horizons of products we can produce cost effectively. And it allows us to change basic patterns without having to get new dies made. Great for prototyping, and production. Maybe we should have a Laser section and we can learn from each other, just an idea. We have cut 2 oz Veg-14 oz Veg very effectively, engraving is easy. i’ll post some work in the coming weeks. This is the engraver/cutter.https://bescutter.com/collections/lasers/products/business-level-52x36-co2-laser-cutter-engraver-100w-to-150w?variant=33972278919 The reason we opted for this unit was we had viewed other Chinese engravers, the boxes wer…

Hello all! I'm new here, but have been reading posts for a while and learning a lot, and decided to share a project I'd finished that might help others. I've seen a few posts on modifying a 1T Harbor Freight Arbor Press to accept punches or stitching chisels, but those involved using a lathe or having someone with access to one machine a slot in to the arbor ram/rack and drill and tap a hole for a set screw. I managed this entirely with a drill press and a tap, which may be more accessible for people. This should work with any inexpensive 1T drill press - the design is pretty universal. A couple of caveats. I already had the drill press and a really good set…

Anyone able to provide any feedback or experience on the 20" splitters that are out there. Looks like Cowboy/Hightex and Artisan Sewing are the only two brands I have seen for it and just curious if anyone has feedback on them. I am really interested in picking one up next month but I have never used either brand of equipment and while I assume they are both re-badged from the same Chinese mfr. I am hoping that for the money it is a solid setup. Any feedback or opinions would be greatly appreciated. Also looking to pick up a skiver next month as well, so any feedback on that I would be interested as well (fortunately there are a ton of posts I am finding about skiving…

Hi guys, I have the press in the photo, it is rated at 25kN (around 2,5 tons of force). Do you know if it's safe to extend the lever for exterting more force? I wish to use it for clicking small pieces, like 10 or 20cm on a side. Got no problem with very small pieces (scales, lames for armors, blanks for key holders etc) but I would gladly increase the capacity for something bigger and maybe some embossing plates.
