  1. They all lok good!!.....just the stitchline around the trigger guard should follow more the contour of your gun.....you have some space there and if the glue finally loosen up you will have some play there.....just a thought!
  2. OMG.....!!!!! Who would do something like that to such a beauty of machinery with the name ADLER on it.....shame to the last keeper of this jewel ! I certainly would bring it back to working condition and use the heck out of it....these 205's are beautiful machines.....and a hand crank is no problem....just think of the cobbler machines...they all have a hand wheel on it and can be operated smoothly. I have a hand crank on my Singer 99 and others....works well. Now ya all go and oil bath these Adlers and make em work again!!
  3. Go to the "Thread exchange " website and buy literally all colors in the rainbow in 138 and about any other size there....they are in North Carolina and have tons of info on their website...well prized too !! I buy only from them and never had an quality issue so far !! Ohhh these Canadians...hihii.... Jimbob
  4. Someone has a Merrow ??? Sewingmaschine for sell....is it usable for anything, what is it for and what value would it have...no picture yet and no clue what model.....it is stubby boxy and small and well over 50 pounds...somebody said tshirt seamer.!? No clue, any help would be swell...thanks
  5. I bought a solid industrial sewing top for 65 bucks...then 2 used H legs for $50.....couple of screws and 15 minutes of cutting a hole....did I do well??????
  6. Large dogs like Mastiff type dogs need a very wide collar to support their neck bone structure....a 2 inch wide collar is just fine for a St. Bernard!! They will pull, or you have to be corrected....it is unhealthy even dangerous for a large breed to have narrow collars....has nothing to do with breaking it or giving.....it also looks silly to have an 1 inch collar on a 200 pound dog! All my Mastiffs have 2 and 3 inch collars. double layer 8 oz leather and connect hard ware with stitching NOT across the strap, then secure with additional Chicago screws on stress points......done!! correction: they will pull, or have to be corrected! haha...
  7. Very old school...love it....especially the broque work....spelling? the tiny holes....also seen on bespoken Oxford shoes, very much leather history here...nice craftsman-ship and good design. I never made a Bycycle seat myself....guess its time now...hahah... Love your website...good work!! James
  8. Just done my first stingray wallet.....wow The Adler 267 could not handle it, broke needle right away....so I went to the Adler 105 and had no problems....but the stitches looked sloppy. So yes it makes a difference what needle we use. The Adler uses 200 LR needles...so a very firm an stiff needle. The idea with the stitching groove I like...will try again soon. This shine and beauty of SR is amazing!! Lets see how many more people can report their experience with ray leather!!! Jimbob
  9. Super nice work.....And I thought gourds are only to spoon water out of a bucket in these goofy cowboy movies I used to do pyrography myself....>> when I reached over my glowing hot heat gun,,,,,I still have the star like emblem on my forearm!!! :-) :-) Nice work, looks almost antique...very detailed!! Nice to see something different here!!! Well done..

  12. There is a great tutorial on rolled edges in how to...kings wallets does it!! Thats how I learned !! Actually pretty easy when u get to understand it... Main thing is use playable leather and thinner than the main leather to be edged. The sides has been put together with a weld...look up auto upholstery...common thing there...i did not use a weld rope..just folded a 3 inch strap....then sew it in between the two side panels. Send me a PM if ya need more info....
  13. Ok.....if ya all tell nobody I let ya in on a secret....I will never abuse my beloved paintbrush with cheap acryl hobby paint, hahah... Therefore I do these leather carvings with a handbrush only! My airbrushes are for automotive paint ly...when I do bike gas tanks and such.... So I guess I am old school..... Thanks for all comments.
  14. On a long hunting trip/hike the schoulder strap will rub your neck raw as an old fish tail.....your design on the strap needs a little help..I like the rugged holster design.....the bullet loops will not help comfort near the neck either...good workmanship. jimbob
  15. Finished yesterday, made a clutch purse a few month ago with the same butterfly motives...now on a oil tan 5-6 oz leather backpack..... with mono shoulder strap!! Jimbob

  17. This was ordered from the customer as a high ride....the belt is a large belt carried over heavy clothing and such...naturally this belt will sit lower then usually....therefor the high ride to equal it out!
  18. Made this one 2 days ago and out the door it went last nite....customer wanted a large hammer strap...hammer strap has opening in center, so in case strap opens at fastener the tight opening is still holding on to the hammer and gun i s safe! Not a fast draw rig, but safe for hunting and hiking....he loved it...good enough!! Hope ya all like it too...
  19. I am also interested, can meet the requirements and would like to offer my services. 276 six 9 zero five 0 8 four thanks
  20. Emblem is customers family crest....not practical on a holster but still considered safe in my book....will refuse to do unsafe gun rigs....and this one is wet molded by my special pal...he used to be a srewdriver many moons ago, then turned into a spike....now he assists me with his rear end to wet mold these thingies... Thanks for all the praise on this stuff.... Jimbob

  22. Somebody needed a few holsters for their SIG 226...I.sort of like the gun but not the trigger....anyway, he wanted a gunbelt too....so I droped all my key-fobs, bracelets and wingdings.... and went to work.....all in black, not my color....I like pink, blue, purple and yellaw....ohhh well. Jimbob
