  4. I do like you style. I'm interested to know what tools you are using for this pattern. I am at this time experimenting with an engraver to tool my final pattern.

  9. Hi all I have joined just resently and have injoyed this site. I have been pounding since 1966; but only now and then. I have been doing moe as of late and do want to, sooner or later, start selling my work and to take special orders. I sure there are folks like me who want to do the same. With that said we'all need to better our craft and to do that Ifeel we need a "Guild". I'm interest in starting one in in the North Houston area. PLease .................. any feedback?.........................

  13. My change on this; along he same vein.............. a hangmans knot is made the same way. Two ends opposite each other, looping the cord around as many turns as required then pulling the loop/knot tight pulling both ends of the cord. Look up hangmans knot....................or not

  20. Great job on the spur straps. I bought a set long ago but have not made straps for'm. I guess I'll post pics of them and you can give me a few ID's.
  21. Here's another pic of a simple to make leather key fob. It's an off the shelf item (Tandy's leather arm band) I simply changed the snap position to the middle punched a middle hole and change the glove snap to a screw post. Simple
  22. Let me say, first of all thanks form looking at my post. I see a lack of critique , YEAH! This is just a quicky design. I was asked to make a leather vest extender for a buddy of mine who also ride a motorcycle. His idea was to cut down on weight; curb chains are heavy (x4) . I have seen this mistery braid on belts and leashes so I thought why not incorporate into a vest extender. It is one piece of leather cut to length and cut to incorporate the mystery braid. And this my friend is how ideas bring extra money to feed our hobbies. As for the weight gain a vest is only good for 1 year or 6 dozen donuts.........which ever come first.
