    Guitar pick case

One of my students had been carrying a pick case around for ever. It broke one day, he knew I was a leatherworker, and he ask me to fix it. It was a little cheap looking, so I said I would make him a new one if I could take the old one for a pattern. He agreed and was very supprised at his new pick holder. It still needs a little more work and a key ring.
  3. One of my students at school had a pick case someone had given him. He had carried this caase for awhile abd it broke. I offered to make him a "real one" out of leather for the pattern. I'm not quite finished with it but, here are a couple of pics. Pic upload is broken. I'll try again latter

  7. Yep, been there, done that. If I could put it my $ .02 (two cents), I use the local free papper. If I can put a visual picture together for you. I split in half a wooden closet pole (2" dia.) and screwed it back together after inserting one end of the newsprint. I use about 15 sheets at one time, this prevents bleeding through. After I'm done I roll it up for next. After using it for awile a can eather tear off the top sheets or replace them. I hope this is helpful. Michael

  17. Lately I have been following differant topics on the forum to find differant projects. At last .................. I thought I'd try making a pair of bracers. Tom was having fun with his project , just creating. Tom you have inspired me to step out the box. I started by buying a pattern pack from Tandy. I have a scrape side and I proceeded to cut out my pattern. Once cut I had a blank slate and on idea what to tool. So I just started to draw, and decided to create a Texas/Lone Star pattern for the Bracers. Below a start (just a Long Horn so far). Thanks Tom for the inspiration. Michael
