  1. Aaron, Welcome aboard! I don't know if you have a Tandy near you but, you missed a good Black Friday sale. I got some good deals. As for as LW.net, this is "the" place to connect and to get more. Welcome aboard and good luck with your remodeling.
  2. Northmount You are so right, I did'nt think it through. The wire does need the insulation quality:surrender:

    Happy Birthday SRT

  4. If I was to hazzard a guess.......................... after a quick study........................ Looks like one strand of round leather lace (as long as the wire). The second piece as long as the distance between barbs (wrapped). The knott is a barrel knott (used in the making of Cord Rosarys. The barbes sticking out would be the start and the stop of the short cord and each end of the barrel knot (I think @#$%) I'd have to practice this project first to be sure. I hope this helps somewhat.
  5. As an electrician you are right but I believe that the "coil wire" is coated with Varnish ofter wrapping. If this is true the Varnish will flake off if un-wrapped. Varnished wire is a good idea and I hope I am wrong.
  6. Thanks
  7. Interesting Idea Matt:Lighten: I'm not sure if anyone else has had this Idea but, we will hear from them soon. I'm interested in their feed back. BTW welcome to LN Matt.
  8. I like the touch of chain maille:red_bandana:
  9. You can tie that square knot at the end to finish off you sewing but thats just what you have a BIG knot ta the end. I prefer back stitching two are three and then burn the thread off. I thing it makes for a cleaner sewing job.............. I hope this helps:red_bandana:
  10. There are also "Skull and Crossbones" on some Crucifixes. This is located at the bottom signifying Christ's triumph over death. The one thing I try to stay away from, talking about religion and politics. I thought I would do some research on this because I thought of this very same thing.................. makes for some interesting reading.
  11. Now your on the radar. Way to go!
  12. I'll enjoy this pattern as well:You_Rock_Emoticon: Thanks loads!
  13. Welcome to LW, VS. I can't say much about holsters but, you bring up some good questions. As for the Tandy Membership, I am an Elite Member. You save more here, at this level should you buy from Tandy to resale. As for as this site, this is the best one around. I do more lurking than posting, I.m not much of a writer, but I knoe I.m welcome here anytime. I look forward to seeing your work here.

  21. I just purchased the whole package from BHD and the baseball cover has the square on it. If you print it directly to your printer, it does measure 1" (are close enough). I downloded mine directly to a picture folder. I will deal with the paint program latter. In the mean time I'm good to go:red_bandana: . I hope this helps.

I have a few Hidecrafters that have darkened in color but, I think you right, it must be the plating process.
