Hi Boothill, that is a great idea, do you have anything under the jack to hold any stamps in place, or do you just set them on the leather and crank away? Moe.

Hi Tim, that drum looks good, and the painting is a whole lot better than anything I could do. Did you buy the hoop or make it yourself? Moe.

That is a fantastic piece!!!

Thank you very much roo4u, I'll be practicing to splice it the way you described. The lace is veg tan 2oz that I cut with the tandy lace maker tool, no beveling at all. Is there a tool that would be a no brainer to use, because I can see myself cutting through that lace easily if I do it by hand What kind of an angle do you want when you bevel the edges of the lace, is it more like # 1 or 2, or some other angle? Thanks again, Moe.

"I have pictures of the process of fitting up the last, that is showing how I build a core size to a custom fit. Any interest in seeing a presentaion of that?" Thanks for the information and I would definitely be interested in seeing how you do that, Moe. -
Hi all, this piece was my first attempt at the round braid/ mexican basket weave, I think it came out ok, but when you look at the closeup the top left is where I started. The lace looks good there, but at the bottom the edges are frayed and stretched. The lace was about 18 feet long (don't laugh too hard). How do you splice this braid? or is there some way of using that length and still making it work right? I have one of the Bruce Grant books, and haven't found out how to splice that braid. Is there something else that I can do to improve what I did? Thanks, Moe

Thank you for the great lesson Paul. Do you know of any sources that show how to make lasts? It seems that buying them is the only way to go. Thanks again, Moe. -

A yin/yang and a feather guitar strap. The end part is a braided 4 strand piece to hold the guitar at the neck as an option. MoeG

Thanks Casey, keeping that pattern straight was a good challenge. Where did you get that signature (ADD-chicken) I'm still laughing. Moe

Hi everyone, these sheathes were an experiment in first in angling the sheath so that it points forward, and so that your hand rests comfortably on the handle when you pull it out. Making a braided pull tab was a first for me and it came out not too bad. The first knife is damascus steel blade and finger guard, warthog handle with water buffalo spacers. The second knife is damascus steel blade and finger guard with a carved antler and water buffalo spacer. Both knives were made by George Roberts. www.banditblades.com Thanks, and I hope you like em. Hi guys, I've been having a lot of problems with the Tandy snaps not staying on. The posts seem to curl in properly, and it looks good at first but they tend to not last very long if they get used daily. Where do you get your snaps (especially you handgun holster makers). Thanks, Moe.

That is a very nice scabbard, did you make a wooden case and then cover it with leather? Is that the original buttcap as well? Moe. -
Very nice, what colors did you use on the headphones? Moe.

that is a very cool belt, did you freehand the font? Moe

Here are a couple of knife sheaths that I made a while ago. The first one is Narwhal, and the second is a gold panner. The backdrop is a cool idea that my friend came up with. It's a 2 by 2 foot piece of 9-10 oz leather tooled with his business logo and everything else is stamped with craftool E-294-03. We both think it's a great way for a business to show their products. Moe.

That is great work, I especially like the bag. How long did it take you to make these? Have you got a pic of the inside? Moe.
