  1. Great , I have to make some shoulder and upper arm peaces for my son , but still have no idea how to start with it . Your creation gives me a lot of inspiration.

  7. My first dog collar. Don't have stamps , so carved it all, its just a try out and my dog is very proud with it.

  11. I already learned that the leather must be wet enough and to keep patience to wait that the top grain is dry enough, before start to cut. What kind of blade you all use in your swiffel knife? Had the same problem at my first piece of carving. Still damping with a sponge , but if the leather get's to dry , damping it again.

  15. Hello to you all from the Netherlands. Love to find this forum , I started leather carving about 2 years ago , with a starters set, a book and a dvd from All Stohlman , and an old piece of vegetan leather. Made a bag , some billfolds , gave my westernsadle a make over. Looking all over the web , to find more leatherworkers, here in the Netherlands it's hard to find someone who wants to share their experience. For most of the carving stuff we 're driving to Belgium ,ore try to find it online. My other hobby's are westernriding , making pics and a lot more.
