  1. Thanks everyone !...I guess I have to take a closer look at OTB catalog.
  2. Around 5/8in long. I am gonna use them for my wallets to attach the chain on. None of the eyelets I was trying have the tubes long enough..
  3. Anybody knows where to find tubular rivets with a longer tube...some people use them on kydex sheaths...? Thank you !
  4. I used a cutting die for the pockets and then just stitch them on...same goes for the outside pocket
  5. Title says it all I guess. I am in Toronto , Canada so it would need to be shipped ...but I can drive 3-4 hours if I have to, in order to pick it up. The press has to be in perfect working condition. Thank you !
  6. Here is the same simple bi-fold design made out of 4oz veg tan . The pockets are stitched using #138 thread and the outside stitching in done on my CB4500 using #207 thread and a #23 needle. Edges are finished just with bees wax
  7. SimpleSssmn [lkhccssl, ;lkmx;|]SXZ\,,,,,,, That's a nice vest !!! Simple and clean design that will look good 20 years from now too. Did you use the Tandy patterns?...I was gonna buy them few days ago but I wasn't sure if they are worth it
  8. Some of that distressed pattern can also be found on my drive-way...
  9. Here is my basic bi-fold wallet in a distressed finish...made out of 5oz veg-tan. Any comments will be appreciated.
  10. Welcome aboard Zulf ! You should post some pics of your work...
  11. These type of "money clip wallets" are very popular and a lot of people are making them...yours for some reason, stand apart and even without your logo I can tell who made them...Nice work !!!! " Insanely popular card wallet with money clip " would be a good name...lol...
  12. It looks like those clips are to be used just by themselves...not installed on a wallet(card holder)...however,they look good either way
  13. Yours looks better than the one in the video...lol...Nice job !!!
  14. No gusset...that'll be to much work for me...lol...
  15. Stitching came out very nice . Proudly Canadian !!!!!!!
  16. The "wallet" is glued to a snap on plastic case... the more cards you put in , the "fatter" the wallet gets , the edges will tend to raise and in time the whole thing will come off . It's ok for one card...maybe 2. Looks pretty neat though !!!
  17. I might be interested in some of this Horween. Can you message me a phone # or a web-site of your supplier, Thanks !
  18. Thanks guys !I will try the phenolic based paint remover first and see what comes off. I just placed an order for a roller foot kit (large and small roller along with the plate and feed dogs) as I am gonna be using the machine for light leather work like wallets interiors and such...I don't think I am gonna be using anything heavier then a #69 thread on 5-6oz soft leather at the most. Would a small motor set in the back of the machine work for these jobs? I want to have this machine set-up like a portable one, as I am restrained when it comes to space and also not gonna be using it on a daily basis . I would like to be able to put it away when not in use. Thanks again !
  19. I just got my hands today on a Singer 31-20 that works just fine but it's not in the best shape aesthetically speaking. It looks like it was repainted at one point in time over the original paint and now it start flaking off. There are also few spots where the paint is missing completely . I am interested in repainting the machine but want to remove the old paint first Anybody has any experience with this?..is sandblasting a good idea? am I better of using a ,paint remover? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Soon as I have a chance I will post some picture of it. Thank you !
  20. Those are some sweet belts !!! Just went on your web-site...very nice work !!!
  21. Here is a minimalist wallet I put together using the same dies I am using for my bi-fold wallet. It has 2 small card pockets, a larger pocket in the middle and measures 4.5in / 3.5in . I riveted a small ring to it so I can attach my keys...so it's pretty much a wallet key-chain...lol...Any comments are welcome. Thank you !
  22. The reverse also helps me stitch very close to the buckle or belt keeper on my dog collars...
  23. I use 4-5oz veg-tan inside and out..but I make the pockets in a different way...
