  1. Just to make even more welcomed ..." bine-ai venit !!! "
  2. Both are 2 in wide , 9-10oz leather in 2 ply , stitched on my good ol' trusted Boss
  3. While buckled up , the inside circumference should be around 16-17in
  4. The buckles are from a leather shop here that makes belts amongst other things, for few brand names out there. They bring most of their hardware from Italy in large quantities...The owner doesn't mind selling me once in a while buckles or other hardware that I might be interested in
  5. I bought this about a month ago and it's not bad ...similar to the one you are interested . The head swivels 360* and also moves back and forth about 45*
  6. Take a look at this "splitter" on ebay ...it will probably work for what you need It has a video too in their listing http://www.ebay.com/itm/Leather-Splitter-Machine-Leather-Skiver-Leather-Skiving-Peeler-Peeling-Tools/141841913751?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20131003132420%26meid%3Dc167303207a14010b9f43e3a3f45421c%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D231766175512
  7. If anybody is interested in getting all the dies I posted in my 4 listings I can let them go for $450 shipping included -minimalist wallet -small 5in wallet -6in biker wallet -card pockets ( 1x vertical , 1x horizontal) Please see my previous listings here Thanks !
  8. Here is a clicker die used for cutting the main shell of the minimalistic wallet pictured beside it. For measurements purposes , the large squares on the cutting mat are 1in. When closed the finished wallet will measure 3.25in / 5.5in. $100 , free shipping for N.America Note: The clicker die for the small pocket it is not included in this listing but one can be added for extra cost Feel free to ask any question regarding this particular item. Thank you !
  9. $150 shipping included for America Very good condition
  10. Here are the 3 clicker dies needed to cut the panels used in making the pictured wallet. The larger one is for the outside and the inside panels and the smaller one is for the zippered pocket .The slit for the zipper will have to be cut by hand ...same goes for the inside panel slit. The large squares on the cutting mat are 1in The dies are in great condition and have always been used with a clicker press. I am not making this design anymore so they are up for sale $300 shipping included within N America
  11. Somebody posted this here and I saved it...hopes it helps Dress Belts.pdf
  12. Same style , black stitching , new buckle , finished edges
  13. I have an aluminum one and used it for about 7-8 years before it needed repairs. I bought a Cowboy CB4500 , but I still have the BOSS and I will probably never get rid of it. Great machine !!!!
  14. Never expected that much feedback...Thanks again !!!! I might try to push my luck and offer $300 ...if it turns out to be working properly...I only care for the cylinder arm ..otherwise I would not be interested Here is a picture of it's "tag" ...maybe helps figuring out the subclass
  15. The buckle "calls" for a black belt in my opinion . I would also put a groove 1/8in from the edge and a fine bevel , but not burnish them
  16. Thanks ! The machine has the clutch motor that I will probably end up replacing with a servo if I am gonna end up buying. I tried to Google needles for Pfaff 28 but I couldn't find anything...nothing on EBay either...same goes for bobbins. Also there is just one video on YouTube ..they can't be that rare ...lol... It's the machine worth the $600 the seller is asking ? Thanks again !
  17. Just came across one of these machines , set up with a roller foot, and seems to work fine...without thread...The seller didn't have any thread and it never crossed my mind to bring thread with me. The needle that's in the machine right now is a size #21 Anybody here familiar with these machines ? I am looking into using it for leather , anywhere from 3oz to 8oz max (in 1-3plys probably) with #69 or #92 thread . I have the CB 4500 that works fine on 10oz with the #138 thread but I need something else with a cylinder arm for lighter leather. I am gonna go back tomorrow and try it with some #92 using the needle that's already there ... if you guys think it's worth it. Is there anything else I should keep my eyes open for?...any details and info (needle type , bobbins and so on...) would be appreciated Thank you !
  18. The 2-3oz chrome tan used for the interior gave me a hard time ...so I just left them that way. The outside edges are beveled and finished properly
  19. 4-5oz for the exterior, 2-3oz chrome tan for interior , stitched all the way around with #138 on my Cowboy 4500. Any comments including critiques are more then welcome Thank you !
  20. For a semi-dress belt I would say a total of 10oz should be more the enough
  21. Yes...there are still up for sale
  22. I think you are being to hard on yourself...As a customer I would never complain about those edges...they look good to me .
  23. For anything heavier then 10oz leather I would use line 24
  24. Before sending it back , make sure you position the punch properly . I use a square ruler on the strap and butt the punch against it making sure in the same time it's centered too...take a look a the picture bellow.
