  1. Calvin from "lwleathers" did mine and i am very happy with the product, the service , the comunication and the cost !!! I got two of them and i am planning on getting few more I am using it in my Tandy press with an adaptor to stamp my products
  2. Here are 2 more simple wallets. I just had 2 dies made to have them cut...one is 6in and the other one is 7in. I just had to cut the slot for the zipper. I only made 2 large pockets on these ones with the small card pocket in the front. Inbetween the 2 large pockets there is another small one for cards.
  3. That particular conchos i got it on e-bay more then a year ago...I bought a bunch of them to use the on my dog collars.I couldn't use the copper ones because i have no copper buckles to match them...so i guess i am gonna be using them on wallets.
  4. First time adding the zipper pocket. Both wallets are pretty much the same design...the first one doesn't have any card pockets. First one is 6in long...second one is 7in long Any comments are more then welcome Thanks !
  5. I tried the lacing once and i gave it up..lol...not that patient...Never tried stamping..never will , probably ! Nice job on your wallets !
  6. The plan was to have the whole wallet black...somehow i end up adding the red accent. Note to myself : Stick with the plan !!!!!! Anyway, the wallet is 7in/4in when close, 4 card pockets in the center and a large bill pocket with an id pocket added on. I used the 4-5oz Kodiak from Tandy Next one will probably be 7/3.5in when close, more card slots ...and no red !!!
  7. The stensil was cut by "PersonallyInspired.com" . I came up with my own design and then had them cut it for me. With this particuar one i can make smaller or bigger wallets...you just have to re-position it. Even the smaller bi-fold card holder i just posted can be done with the same stensil
  8. I posted not to long ago a simple bifold card holder ...here is an improved version with an ID window on one side and pocket open on two sides for an easier access on the other side. The wallet was dyed using the air spray can from Tandy with their new water based dyes (black/red)
  9. The wallet closed is 6/3.5in ...or 6/7in open. Both inside and outside of the wallet are the same dimensions. I just had an acrylic stensil made for the inside that i can use to cut the outside of the wallet too. The 8 pockets are kind of overkill ...when full the wallet tend to be to thick imo.I think i am gonna have only 4 pockets on one side and an ID window on the other side...just like the longer version(8in) i posted here not too long ago
  10. I've made the same wallet with 6 pockets using pig skin for the pockets and it came out kind of bulky.I used lining fabric for this one and it came out way thinner even with the extra pockets. I use the spray can i got from Tandy again for dyeing and i am very happy with the out come...especially with the outside look Any comments are more then welcome Thanks !
  11. Thanks !!!! I'll give it a try on the next ones. I've done that to some card holders in the past but for some reason it never crossed my mind to do the same thing to the phone sleeves..lol...Thanks again !!!
  12. Some people had a hard time taking it out...the harder you try, the harder it comes out..lol... just like a chinese finger trap...
  13. The 1/2in will look good in my opinion...This is a collar i made that has oblong holes probably longer then 1/2in...just to give you an idea...hope it helps
  14. After a bit of trial and error i finally came up with a pattern for a fitted sleeve...so here is the first one that came out nice enough to be posted in the "show off" section...lol...The leather is 4-5oz veg tan and it was stitched with #138 thread. As far as dyeing goes I end up using again the spray can from Tandy with some dilluted dark brown As usual any comments are more then welcome Thanks ! e.d
  15. "Personally Inspired"...they do some of the cutting and engraving for me. They also did some stencils i use once in a while on particular type of leather that doesn't cut very well
  16. Here is another product that i might add to my portfolio...bifold/card holder...I had the outside and the inside laser cut so i just had to dye them and stitch them. The red one has some laser engraved skulls to match the snap. The dark brown one was dyed using the spray bottle that Tandy is selling along with the jar. It actually work bery well...way easier and a nice even coverage. It came out very dark so next time i will probably dilute it a bit more Feedback is appreciated ! Thanks !
  17. After trying few different styles of wallets...different pocket set-ups...different closures and so on, here is the one the i am very happy with. Open is almost 8in/8in, is made out of 5oz Kodiak leather(Tandy), has 5 pockets for cards , 1 window pocket for ID and ofcourse 2 large bill pockets. I could have made probaly 6 or even 7 card pockets on one side but i was afraid it was gonna get to bulky. I used fabric liner for the pockets so it actually came out thinner then i was expecting...so next one will probably have more pockets. Even though i posted in the "show-off" section, critiques are more then welcome !!! Thanks !
  18. The price for that particular set is $90 and payment has to be wire transfer. Shipping through DHL would be around $50...so the whole thing is $140 ...not a bad set of tools...but $140 it's out of my league . A 1in radius metal pipe cut in 4(lenght wise) will give 4(same size) similar tools..sharpen one end and put a handle on the other one and you are good to go.. Do that to a 1.5in a .75in and a .5in radius pipe and you have 4 sets of 4 different sizes corner cutters. Keep a set for yourself and sell the other 3...I am interested in one of them if it's done nicely !!!...lol...
  19. I am interested in that tip too...lol...I made few wallets with those particular slit / pocket but i had to stitch the actuall pockets that holds the cards on the back from sliding down. It came out thicker then i was hoping and i only had the pockets...This is the one
  20. The inside is just plain pig skin...no pockets. I will put together a small clip on youtube probably , making one...it only takes about 2-30mins Thanks !
  21. Hello everyone ! These are some new money clips i made with card pockets on the outside...i think it makes an easier access to them...These are items i am planing on start selling so any input will be apreciated. The inside is linned with pig skin and the clips are from Tandy. The stitching was done with a #138 thread on my 111 type "no name" sewing machine Thanks ! e.d
  22. Thanks ! It was the easiest way of making a bag that i came up with .It's great for a small laptop, a tablet, few books, magazines...but nothing more. Because the way it's put together it will always stay flat .It's pretty much 2 very large pockets of a biker wallet with a strap attached on the back
