  1. Look up Kwikprint as far as machine goes..there are few more names out there but this seems to be very popular. It comes in 2 different base models, 25 and 86 i believe....plenty of clips on youtube demonstrating the process too. You can find the press on Ebay once in a while...same goes for the letter sets
  2. Here is another wallet i made today ..again something simple and easy to put together(so i thought when i start making it). ..I only made one mistake on this one...the snaps(bought from Tandy ) took a bit more space then i tought and the cards don't fit as i want them to fit..apparrently size matters... The pockets are lined with pig skin, the leather used for the outside and the inside is 4-5oz .The wallet was stitched with the Cowboy CB4500 using #277 thread Critiques are more then welcomed
  3. Wanted to make this simple wallet for some time now...I got my hands on some clips from OTB and here it is.Holds about 6 cards...3 in each pocket and ofcourse bills in the center. The line 24 skull snap is from Tandy I am working on another one, tri-fold type that will have an ID window. Oppinions and critiques are more then welcomed Thanks !
  4. Is this "rope stitch" done with just one needle?...i've seen somebody else doing a similar stitch using raw hide thread and one needle but i didn't know what was called. It looks very nice !!!
  5. I have a small clip on youtube making a padded collar...not the best quality pictures but it will give you an idea(just look up "mollossmaster". I will have to come up with a better video showing what goes into making one of these collars.
  6. 9-10 oz in double ply...at least . I make collars for larger dogs most of the time...80lb and over. Rarely use latigo...mostly bridle, double backs. Bellow is a youtube link of what i call "double" collar...some close -up shot
  7. That is the fanciest agitation collar i've seen do far ... nice work !!!
  8. Made of of 9oz leather(one 1.75in strap folded in two), solid brass hardware, cobra skin inlay, red 2-3oz upholstery leather trim.
  9. Feel free to contact me with some more details...i might be able o help you E.D www.leatherlegion.com

  11. Leather sheath made for a Strider SMF mimicking the large jimping characteristic to these knives...Even though is not posted in "Critique my work" critiques are more then welcome. The sheath is made out of 5-6oz leather and machine stitched A short video clip is posted on YouTube too for those of you interested in seeing more pics Thanks !
  12. +1...lol...i got 3 of them and still look for another even though i don't need it...lol..but it might come in handy one day...lol...
  13. Still learning for now but here is my best so far... i also posted a picture in "Critique my work" too .I don't have the courage yet to hand stitch anything else but left-overs...1 ply pieces of leather...lol...This one here is 5 stitches/inch and i am using #415 thread . I tried a straight line and also a curve...which i thought it's gonna be a bit more harder. I just got my hands on some linen and that's gonna be my next project . Any oppinions are more then welcome..especially critiques. Thank you !
  14. Good eyes !!! That edge is actually the only one that's not finish..that's because i decided to trim it a bit more just before i took the picture. The wallet has bigger flaws then that...lol...I focused more on the pockets then anything else...i watched Kevin King's wallet tutorial , i went bought some pig skin and gave it a shot. There be more wallets coming ...lol...Thanks !
  15. Thanks ! it's just a croc print...i wasn't that confident..lol...
  16. First and second shot at wallets...second one was made after watching Kevin King's tutorial...Thanks Kevin !!! Not as easy as i thought...lol...messed up the corners on the black one...came out bulkier then i was hoping...but still happy with the result...lol...Oppinions and critiques are more then welcome Thank you !
  17. I ask my customers to measure the dog's neck in the smallest part of it...tight ! ...never the old collar !!! The thickness of the collar plays an important role in sizing too . A 1ply collar , 20in from buckle to the hole has a different inside circumference than a 2ply collar measured the same way . The right size of the collar is measured when the collar is buckled up...not flat out on the table. If you have standard designs and use the same leather weight most of the time you can make yourself few collars(in one ply , 2 ply ....) from 15in all the way up to 27in and used them as guide. A custom collar should not have more then 3 holes for adjustment, 3/4in apart. Sometime i ask for pics of the dog and its weight ...i can pretty much guess the neck size within 1 or 2in..lol... Hope it helps
  18. Just make one and see how it holds up ! that's the best way probably to find out. Put the DEE ring at the end of the collar and the the buckle..this way you might eliminate the need of a belt keeper. If you make it , just post the picture here and let us know if it works... Good luck !
  19. Nice work all together...edges, forming, stitching, finish, color. I just made one for my Kershaw and now i am looking to buy another knife just to make a sheath for it...lol.. Thanks for posting !!!
  20. +1 on the 16in arm...i was ready to buy the CB3500 and i went for the 4500 in the last minute..i am happy i did !!! I drove all the way to Toledo as it was cheaper for me, then to have it shipped over.
  21. Just visited your web-site...love your work !!! I made a bracelet a while ago inspired by your style...Thanks !!!
  22. I did skive it a bit...i really love those clasps..lol...
  23. It left a mark already...but unless the knife is out of the sheath you can't see it.The leather i used is a bit thicker then it suposed to be, i guess, and the clip is pressing realy hard on it too...at least i know it's not gonna come out by itself...lol...
  24. Had the knife for a while now and wanted for the longest time to make one of these formed sheats. With all the info from here and some YouTube clips this is what i came up with...way better then i was expecting....lol... Now i need some expert opinions...critiques are more then welcomed !!! Thanks !
