Very nice work on that one. Stamping is excellent. Nice design.

It is formed for that gun very nicely. I would have smoothed up the rough side of the leather and the edges with some kind of finish or Gum Tragacanth and a piece of Plexiglas. Other than that it looks great and is molded to the gun very well. Looks good.

Nice looking sheath. The carving looks nice and I also like the different color welt. I'm going to have to try that sometime.

Thanks for the nice comments Eddie. The interior I used is not punched so I punched the lacing holes together with the back. I guess if I had the pre-punched interior, I would glue the back and interior together and use the holes that are already punched for my guide holes to punch holes in the back.

Oldtoolsniper, Thanks for the nice comments. I really do believe this lacing will hold up very well. On my last billfold it lasted over 25 years and I carried it every single day, although it was broken at the folds. I believe this lacing pattern to be stronger than the double loop I used before. The lace is also a very high quality lace form Springfield Leather. I do believe it will last me a very long time.

Feraud and Texback, Thanks for the kind comments. Tramp, Thanks for the nice comment. Springfield Leather does have some of this in black and a bunch of other colors. I have tried twice to post a web address but to no avail. (Sometimes this site is hard for me to use and it ends in frustrations. )

I did not dye this, it comes this color. They call it turquoise Brown. There is many different colors you can get this in from Springfield Leather.

Antiquing sure makes a big difference in showing up your design. Here are two holsters I have completed. The one on the left in each picture is not antiqued and the one on the right is. I think the one on the right looks much better. What do you think?
