Leather Bandolier Case
SpookStrickland replied to Andrew Chee's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
That's really a great idea. I have been thinking about making me a sporran to hold my wallet and stuff but that might be just the ticket! -
Outstanding! I love it.

Very true! My Grandpa taught me early on how to use a wet-stone and I still have that same wet-stone that I sharpen all my knives on. There are tone of new fangled knife sharpeners these days but I still prefer the good old fashioned wet-stone.

Biker Style Wallet
SpookStrickland replied to sherlockian100's topic in Purses, Wallets, Belts and Miscellaneous Pocket Items
Thanks I'm going to look for that pattern. It's amazing just how many dang cards, we have to carry in our wallets these days for Memberships and Insurance and club cards and all that stuff, that I'm afraid I'm going to end up with a "man purse" instead of a wallet one day LOL -
It's amazing with just how much you can do with a small knife. I remember when I was a kid my Grandpa told me and my Cousin not to worry about packing around our big buck knives that all you need is a little Trapper or Stockman style knife, and you know the older I get the more I realized he was right but I do love my big knives.

Biker Style Wallet
SpookStrickland replied to sherlockian100's topic in Purses, Wallets, Belts and Miscellaneous Pocket Items
That's great! I love the artwork. I think I'm going to make me a wallet next. I just need to find a good way to hold my ID and credit cards, those biker/trucker wallets don't seem to conducive to holding those types of things. -
It has a plastic fulcrum that the tip of the blade rides on that forces it open when you draw it out. It works really smooth and is great for when you have one hand full and you need to cut something. I mainly made it for camping because in the state where I live Fixed Blade knives are a big no, no, so now I have a knife big enough for bushcraft work that is almost as easy to use as a fixed blade. thanks That is a great looking sheath, have you been wearing it a lot?

Nice Straps. What kind of guitar do you play? I play a Stratocaster mainly.

This is my first leather project ever! I saw a sheath online and liked it because it made for easy one handed opening of my lock back knife, I decided to give it a go and used an old Weight Belt I had laying around the house. It works very well. I'm going to get some nicer leather and make another one soon plus many more projects the leather bug has bitten me. I'm sure I made some mistakes but that's why I'm here is to learn and get better. Please feel free to comment Thanks
