    Quiver 3

    From the album: Samurai Quiver

Quiver I made for a friend in Japan. The inlay is sea snake, since I used to see them there when I used to dive there. The body and straps are 8-9 oz Horween chromexcel, and 8-9 oz Hermann Oak. Lined with pig skin and some rolled edging on the top is calfskin. Comments / criticism welcome!

  4. Here are some pictures of a quiver I recently made for a friend. He is in Japan and wanted a Samurai carved in it. He gave me full run on what I wanted to do, so I did. I did the inlay with sea snake, as I used to see them there all the time when diving there. The dark brown is Horween chromexcel 8-9 oz, and the carved portion is Herman Oak 8-9 oz. If you get a chance to work with the chromeexcel, I suggest it. It is so very nice, and it is already about as waterproof as you can get! I tried loading more pictures, but it is giving me fits! Comments/criticism is welcome!
  5. I need to add, that aside from the beautiful work you are doing, the camera work is pretty great too! Thanks for sharing this!
  6. Very nice. I need to get one of those made myself! I have drawn one up, then realized it would work only for the time being, no room for new tools! Back to the drawing board for me! Very well done though!
  7. I love this tag! Gives me so many other ideas of great quotes for travel! Thanks for sharing!
  8. Love it...As you know, I have a weakness for skulls. Those roses are incredible as well. They really pop.

  17. I love your work! I follow you on Deviantart. Would love to learn how you do this so clean. No wiping like a regular tattoo? Thanks for sharing this here!
  18. I have no idea what a rope can is, but I think the work is beautiful! Great tooling and the layout is amazing!

Here is the inside. I lined it with an old dress my wife no longer wears, plus it fits the tattoo style I carved on the front.

Carved this wallet out of some real thick leather, just as a test to get some inside dimensions for a layout. I loved the way it turned out, so I kept going and now I have a real thick (like 1/8 inch thick) wallet. Also learning how to dye with a new airbrush. Gotta love Harbor Freight!
  21. From the album: Corsets and belts

A friend of mine owns a Crossfit gym (The Anvil), and asked me to make them some weight lifting belts. This is the first, of hopefully many! It is 4 inches wide and about 40 inches long. 10mm thick. Lined with pig skin. It has a longer handle for easier grip when tightening.

  24. Yeah...I popped for the Roo leather lace also. 25 yards for 19.99, and a side of 3-4 oz. tooling side. Hope to get some more on payday!
