I have to put the spots on first so, I can hide the bottom of the spots with the liner. so the prongs don't catch you wrist. there is no liner on the black one. just on the brown one should I cut the liner before I bevel the edge

New Tippman Boss Bottom Stitches..help Please!
wlg190861 replied to Toolster's topic in Leather Sewing Machines
I had that problem an it is from the top tension being to tight. I agree though you would b a lot happier with a CowBoy an a generator on your trailer. I have a CB4500 an love it. you can sew as slow or as fast as you want -

Spot Setter -- Standard Rivet Or Weaver?
wlg190861 replied to cmantz's topic in Hardware and Accessories
Heritage from Weaver. I have their foot press an use it all the time an love it, no problems. If anything is ever wrong with something, Weaver will make it right -

#1 I am new to sewing an I am looking for a good lining leather. The lining leather I am using now, the thread sits on top of the lining where it will wear a lot faster. I an looking for a lining leather where the thread will pull in an lay flush with the leather so as not to wear. I use 346 thread on a CB4500 and the bobbin tension is as tight as it goes. Help #2 What is the best thread. Poly or nylon I am making belts
