  1. HI Red I use a #26 needle, 346 top and 207 thread in the bobbin. I have a CB4500 so I'm not sure all heavy sewing machine is the same. Dan
  2. I have to put the spots on first so, I can hide the bottom of the spots with the liner. so the prongs don't catch you wrist. there is no liner on the black one. just on the brown one should I cut the liner before I bevel the edge

  4. Hello The problem I am having is I cant seem to cut the lining leather without cutting into the wristband. I am using a rotary cutter. Is there a better way to cut the lining? Or do I need more practice There has to be another way. Do you have any tips. You can see in the photo

  6. I had that problem an it is from the top tension being to tight. I agree though you would b a lot happier with a CowBoy an a generator on your trailer. I have a CB4500 an love it. you can sew as slow or as fast as you want

  9. Let me try this again as the first try did not work I've been making a lot of belts an wristbands and thought I would try my luck at doing a marbling effect. both Drk brown. Hows the bottom color look ? That is just a piece of scrap leather on the bottom.

  11. If you oil before you dye don't that make it hard too get a true color when dyeing ? Do you soak in oil or just apply small amount oil ?

  13. Heritage from Weaver. I have their foot press an use it all the time an love it, no problems. If anything is ever wrong with something, Weaver will make it right
  14. I've tried in the past to use Resolene in the past, I like the finish but, I can't apply without streaks.. How do you do it ? I am thinking of buying a sprayer. Does anyone know where I can buy a good one. Thank you Dan

  16. The belt looks wonderful. I think the 346 looks better. That is just my opinion, try I once, I think you will like it

  20. What I mean is when you run your finger over the liner on the belt, I don't want to feel the stitching can u cut a stitching groove in thin lining leather
  21. I'm sewing belts. I am looking for the thread to sink into the leather lining so its flush an not laying on top
  22. #1 I am new to sewing an I am looking for a good lining leather. The lining leather I am using now, the thread sits on top of the lining where it will wear a lot faster. I an looking for a lining leather where the thread will pull in an lay flush with the leather so as not to wear. I use 346 thread on a CB4500 and the bobbin tension is as tight as it goes. Help #2 What is the best thread. Poly or nylon I am making belts
