  1. Nicely done Bob. I really like the attention to detail you gave to the turkey. I'm slowly beginning to branch out into the figure/pictorial carving world. I hope to one day be able to do things like this.
  2. Nicely done! That's a good looking holster and belt!
  3. Wow! That is nice! Great job!
  4. Those are awesome. Nicely done. I was just asked to make some of these for some of my dad's coworkers for their fire department. Yay for new projects!
  5. Yes I did dye them myself, Blackbirdhills Andy. I used Fiebing's Light Brown for my dye and then used Tan Kote and then applied a final coat of Wyo Sheen.
  6. That is awesome! Great job all around! I really like it!
  7. Thanks Monica!
  8. I had the exact same problem. Definitely not a fan of Edge Kote. Now I use Fiebings USMC black dye. I dye first then follow the rest of Bob's (hidepounder) directions on dyeing. I finish by applying Tan Kote and then Wyosheen. I have not had any rubbing off since I have switched to this method. Hope that helps.
  9. I just started using WyoSheen (old version of Neat Lac) and I am very pleased with it. I put on Tan Kote first followed by the WyoSheen. It seems to keep the leather softer and it also gives more of a water resistant to the leather.
  10. That looks awesome! Great job for your first one!
  11. Awesome! Very clean and nice work!
  12. Very impressive!

  14. Very nice! The finish is great and the sewing lines are nice and even! Well done!
