  1. Very nice. Looks like the rig to skin a griz.
  2. Anyone would be happy with that rig. Nice job. I like the straps. I have not seen that before. Great idea.
  3. Some folks like the look. I think your work is great.
  4. Dang Man. That's some fine looking rigs. I think this will be part of what is passed down to future generations. Well done.
  5. That is a cool looking revolver holster with bullet loops.
  6. All's I can say is "oooooooooooh, aaah! Nice.
  7. jlaudio - Those look good. I really think you have the right color. I have been drinking the Hibiscus tea for my health. I gave it a try after seeing what it looked like in my cup. My test piece of leather was light weight and dyed more pink. I have strengthened my batch and will try another holster next week.
  8. Camano - nice looking rig. Eagle - it is the Wiley Clapp. I think this is one of the best handling revolvers. I have always liked the Rugers and this is one of the best I have handled. I like the stainless better for making holsters but I really think the blued looks cool.
  9. I found the diamond shaped stamp at Tandy. The other is just a seeder. I have been encouraged to try different patterns after looking at some of the other rigs posted on leather worker.
  10. Steve, I have used coffee too. Works great. Makes a light tan color.
  11. I tried dyeing with Hibiscus Tea. This is not as pink as my original test piece. I have brewed more tea to make the batch stronger. My goal was to make a "girlie" looking holster. I think the holster has the girlie look with an added intimidating factor.
  12. Broke down and bought myself a new GP100. Made this holster for conceal carry. I just finished the holster so I don't have much time wearing. I think this is going to be my new favorite carry rig.
  13. I used 6/7 on the front and 7/8 on the back.
  14. Shooter - Thanks for the heads up.
