  1. Of course you knew I would say that . And about the compliments, I make mine Brian's answer
  2. As a chair I can understand, but it's bad taste to put your feet on such a beautiful work!
  3. Hi LoneWolf, I think I can get you that image, but it will have to be tomorrow. I'll PM you, is that ok? Sandra
  4. It seems to be genuine, the one you received. But why don't you contact the manufacturer? It's be best way to clarify your doubts. Their website http://www.herder-solingen.de/index.htm
  5. This is a great and helpful tutorial! Thanks for your time
  6. Thanks for the info Thor! It was one of the first sites I found when I became interested in leatherwork. It has valuable info and it would be sad if it ended!

    Cool work! <3
  13. Thank you for the pattern JimDavies! As usual you have very nice videos and patterns. If I'm not mistaken, this is the Biker wallet in Japanese style.
  14. Already registered too! It's a nice way to have some online classes. And the site is looking very nice
  15. Makes sense in my head as well!
  16. Fudge is beautiful! Everything takes practice and most of all, learning from our own mistakes
  17. You have some nice works, very "naïf style", the painting it is! I like in particular the vertical messenger bags, and the colored wallets. The second one is just great! Is that Fudge wearing a colar?
  18. I had to edit a pdf, the pattern or the measurements are not mine as I said before . I just forgot to correct the original. In fact, not too many zeros, just lacking a "." before them
  19. Thor, I think I know what you mean, 1600 what? I'll correct it
  20. Those are not my measurements. Mine are colored. But they seem right. In fact, when I made this purse I still didn't have the pattern I've uploaded, only one similar to your link, and then I just cutted the drawing and enlarged it until it seemed ok to me. My purse is about 1cm smaller than the pattern in the link. But why do you ask?
  21. Hi, I added some instructions to the pattern that's bellow. See if you understand my instructions! This is the pattern for Thor's first link! folded purse.pdf folded purse.pdf
  22. Hi Lorraine, I've made one of this purses when I started leatherwork, about a year and a half ago. I remember I had some difficulty too, understanding the "construction" of the purse. What is your problem exactly? Maybe I can help. Sandra
  23. Hi Bob, Depending on the size of what I want to color, if it's a really tiny space, I find the brushes that women use to make drawings in her fingernails very useful. they're tiny and cheap. Usually I use number "0" to "000", the smallest I've found. And I try to begin painting in the center of my drawing and then spread the color to the edges! Sandra
  24. You can do that as well! And put one of the division stitches matching the ornamental piece outside.
  25. Hi Indidana! Depending on the size of the interior pockets she wants, you can take advantage of the ornamental piece of leather in the middle of the bag!
