Fudge is beautiful! Everything takes practice and most of all, learning from our own mistakes

You have some nice works, very "naïf style", the painting it is! I like in particular the vertical messenger bags, and the colored wallets. The second one is just great! Is that Fudge wearing a colar?

Purse pattern for newish leather worker

I had to edit a pdf, the pattern or the measurements are not mine as I said before . I just forgot to correct the original. In fact, not too many zeros, just lacking a "." before them -

Purse pattern for newish leather worker
SamB replied to lorraine g's topic in Patterns and Templates
Those are not my measurements. Mine are colored. But they seem right. In fact, when I made this purse I still didn't have the pattern I've uploaded, only one similar to your link, and then I just cutted the drawing and enlarged it until it seemed ok to me. My purse is about 1cm smaller than the pattern in the link. But why do you ask? -

Purse pattern for newish leather worker
SamB replied to lorraine g's topic in Patterns and Templates
Hi Lorraine, I've made one of this purses when I started leatherwork, about a year and a half ago. I remember I had some difficulty too, understanding the "construction" of the purse. What is your problem exactly? Maybe I can help. Sandra -
Newbie Question - Accuracy Dying Inside Stamped Letters
SamB replied to bob21804's topic in How Do I Do That?
Hi Bob, Depending on the size of what I want to color, if it's a really tiny space, I find the brushes that women use to make drawings in her fingernails very useful. they're tiny and cheap. Usually I use number "0" to "000", the smallest I've found. And I try to begin painting in the center of my drawing and then spread the color to the edges! Sandra -
You can do that as well! And put one of the division stitches matching the ornamental piece outside.

Hi Indidana! Depending on the size of the interior pockets she wants, you can take advantage of the ornamental piece of leather in the middle of the bag!
