  1. Holstier.
  2. Good job.
  3. I would bet a pinky toe that it will need sharpening out of the box. But we should all learn to sharpen stuff. At that price I would try it. It won't get any cheaper.
  4. Here is a tote I made for my wife.
  5. I don't have much to post. I do this for a hobby and haven't made a lot of stuff yet. Here are some wuta pattern wallets I've done.
  6. Teach yourself how to sharpen your blades. Even if you are using a utility knife, the blades are a long way from sharp. You will be amazed at how much better they cut after even just stropping them. I have been using water to dilute my fiebings dyes with good results. Hope this helps.
  7. Haha. I guess it's technically a 2 yard stick.
  8. Welcome to the forum. We would love to see some of your work.
  9. Mine is a six foot yard stick. Just get it where you want it , kneel down on it with my knee and start cutting.
  10. That looks great. Will you be lacing the collar, sleeves, and front edges as well?
  11. Excellent first effort. Keep having fun.
  12. Cool.
  13. Nice looking burnishers. What kind of leather products are you making?
  14. Since you mentioned just starting out.... Get yourself a 6 foot straight edge (home depot) and a piece of straight pine 1x6 or 1x8 for a cutting board. Grab your tape measure and razor knife and have at it. Make sure and have some fun.
  15. I'm totally subscribing.
  16. Lol.
  17. I can't believe you finally made one. You're lighting was too good, the video wasn't long enough, and next time I better hear some kids crying in the background.
  18. Thanks Brian. For being self taught you sure crank out a lot of high quanity, higher quality merchandise. I'm really taking these on as a precursor to collars and belts. So, do you finish your edges before you skive for the buckles? Would 1" straps be a better fit for men's bracelets? I was planning on them being 3/4 but alas, I had bought 5/8 buckles. I have some of the same buckles in 1" but they seem bulky for bracelets. I had actually bought them for collars. But they seem too big for my 20 pound dogs.
  19. This guy makes a nice looking clicker knife with a permanent blade. I haven't bought one but have read some satisfied reviews here. http://www.knipknives.com/leather.php
  20. Awesome thanks.
  21. Thank you very much.
  22. But what about smaller people? 6 inches? 7? Thanks.
