  1. More band aids. Ha
  2. My main concern was a Tandy employee actually advising against buying it. That is not their normal s.o.p.
  3. Hahaha!!! I know I was just taking a crack at the site.
  4. That's what I was thinking, it was a Tandy problem not a Latigo problem.
  5. I was going to make a belt from Latigo but the people at Tandy said I would regret it, because of bleeding. When I look elsewhere for Latigo i see it praised for belt making. It makes me a little suspicious of tandy's latigo. Do other vendors have the problem with bleeding?
  6. They seem to have great pricing but man that website is so 2001.
  7. Good luck on the sale. Question: what's that knob on the bottom for? Just curious.
  8. Gives you a lighter shade. Most people find full strength to dark for their liking.
  9. You know, a shop press with plates welded on it. They are all over YouTube. Thought you knew. You can build one out of a harbor freight press used for pressing bearings. TOTALLY REDNECK. Some people go ahead and replace the jack with an air or hydraulic cylinder.
  10. A bottle jack press.
  11. I'm interested in the answers. I would think you would lose the ability to tool when you go down to something light enough to wear. You could probably make some tooled accents or even a "backpatch" to add to your jacket. Just my thoughts.
  12. Seems to me that your looking for more of an art book. Drawing landscapes, flowers, etc. If you more towards visual arts rather then leather arts, you can find what your looking for. Then adapt that to your leather. You could even get some tattoo flash and learn from that. Good luck.
  13. The guys on here sell just the servos. I think they are around 150.
  14. Please clarify the part about black singers??? Are black singers all industrial / leather machines?
  15. That thing should be in Hollywood scaring little children. Jesus! Great job.
  16. Thanks , Tink.
  17. Thanks.
  18. Just in the investigating phase for now. Most of the used listings don't list model numbers though. If I bring anything else home anytime soon my wife may flip.
  19. I don't think women wear belts like we do. I put on my belt in the morning and pull it tight to keep my pants up all day. Most ladies wear more fitted clothing and a belt is mostly used as a accent. Women's jeans are cut in a way that usually just buttoning them will keep them up. I doubt she will be wrenching it down tight to wear all day. I'd say talk to her about how she will wear it and what limitations you think the project has and go from there. On another note my boss taught me that sometimes you have to sell somebody what they want. You can't talk them out of it and if you do, they get embarrassed, leave, and buy what they wanted from somewhere else.
  20. I was reading somewhere that a guy replaces his hf drill press about every other year. He's happy with that schedule.
  21. Thanks for that. I would like to eventually get a cowboy 3200. But it's just not possible these days.
  22. Pro edge burnishers make some pretty pieces.
