  1. Thanks it is saddle tan and then atomic balm changes shade to that warmer hue. Interior is actually some wool plaid left over from a kilt I had made.
  2. In Canada they accept our picture driver licences as I’d on flights domestically. The green carry wallet should come in handy on the international travel as it will house just the cards I really need for travel. It is about half smaller than my usual home carry wallet. It is actually in the corner of the open passport wallet photo.
  3. Thanks I have just started with the coloured dyes, I like how they come out
  4. Beautiful work on both, but that handle is a showstopper, really like how the leather, brass and antler go together
  5. We seem to be doing doing and planning more travel, and I always seem to be searching for passport and credit cards etc, when moving spot to spot. So I decided to do a passport wallet for the moving part of the trips. For when we are based, I found that my daily wallet has a lot of cards that I need at home not so much with travel. So I did up a prototype of a small scale western style wallet with some scraps I had around, to see how it would work out and if suitable I will do a more finished one for travel use. Small wallet
  6. Nice work, really like the colour and how mink oil gives it a natural aged look.
  7. Nice job, I have worked with bison before in some small pouches an it is tough to get the edges finished.
  8. Photo of on the putter and the back with flap medallion. Sorry for two messages on this, resizing is not something I am good at. Thanks and not likely, hands still sore from this stitching.
  9. My wife’s putter head cover was beginning to look a little ratty. I had some scrap green leather and goat skin, so figured I would give it a go and did up a pattern. She is from Ireland so also thought I would try an embossing(likely wrong description of technique) of a shamrock. I think it came out well, and more importantly she likes it.
  10. A friend who is a wood worker, asked me a year ago to make sheaths for his Japanese bevel edge chisel and 2 large bevel edge timber framing chisels. Picked away over the last year and I ally finished the last one and delivered it today. Japanese chisel - 9” in length was the first one completed and after delivering it to him he has been wearing it everyday (first photos below) one large timber framing chisel (black case below) is 16” in length largest timber framing chisel is 21” in length. (Photos to be added in next reply) He is pleased with how they came out, little fancier than he needed but practical for his use. Photos of largest framing chisel

  12. As I am not a great golfer, I usually carry a few spare balls in my back pocket. Wanted to figure out a carrier I would be comfortable with so built one to use this season. Small issue with belt clip stud, secure but off centre ( not seen so will leave). Left it natural except for coating of Smith Leather Balm to see how it ages. Additional photo

    Dice Bags

They did not have a name for it, but the internet had a similar game called Farkle. It said there are variations of the game and scoring.

    Dice Bags

Neighbours introduced us to a game played with 6 dice. We enjoy playing it and introduced it to one of our daughters and her partner, they also had a blast, my wife “suggested” that we should give both of our daughters six dice for Christmas and hey I could make a bag for the dice. Two days later after researching and finding a design I liked here they be. Happy how they came out now to make one for us.
