  1. Does it come to a point in the middle? Maybe. Happy New Year!
  2. First, congrats! I have a pattern for a baby photo album, baby diaper introducing the child and baby mocs, I think. I will have to dig and hopefully you will not need them like soon. I am feeling under the weather. I can check for you, but please give me some time, okay. Happy New Year!
  3. I looked through my collection of old western floral reference books and found in one of Bob Moline's books that he does exactly what you were asking (picture above) as I stated in my first reply. I hope this helps. Happy New Year
  4. Thanks.
  5. good you got it.
  6. Do a search on her for '2009 texas boot & saddle show' or '2009 boot & saddle show vendors.' I did a thread on the vendors and their contact information. I believe I listed on either 'resources' or 'suppliers.' if you can wait until later today, I will get home after work and take a look at his business card. Happy New Year!
  7. Is the long arm patch machine the one that you will ship? I am interested.
  8. Have you sent a photograph to Zack's and asked them if any other customer's experience this? They may be able to help or provide answers while you away at the hardware store.
  9. I also have learned that it takes some time for the dye to settle in. What I thought was dark brown when I applied saddle tan; later on revealed exactly the color I wanted, but I must agree with the statement above. It depends on many things especially the leather. Happy New Year!
  10. The Pleasant Valley Shop - Lessons on Holster & Knife Sheath videos are Sold! Thanks.
  11. Sorry, I didn't tell you what I do for living....Let me see if I can get through the garbage and get you a direct web address. I will PM later.
  12. Barry King sells one for $35 or you can PM TimD on here who makes a nice compact one out of plastic. Good luck
  13. Okay, our leather guild has almost completed the renovation of our video library. We have pulled all of our VHS format videos and replaced them with multiple DVDs. I have been given permission by the membership to sell the VHS videos at a minimal cost to continue the build up of our library. Some of you have requested a list of titles. Here they are. I paid the my oldest with an hour on the Wii to make up a list of VHS videos for sale. The cost for each video is a fraction of the cost of a new one and reflects the fact that they are in VHS format. Unfortunately, the buyer will have to paid shipping. All of these videos will eventually make it to eBay, but I wanted this forum to get first pick. If anyone is interested, please PM me for your choice and payment options. Thanks. 14. I am trying to look closer, but I believe he outlines it with a large camoflague tool defining the half circle. Then he uses a single seeder followed by swivel knife cuts. BTW: I went on to his supplier's website in Taiwan. He is really big over there in the leather world and has created what is known as Bobcat College. He teaches basic, intermediate and advance classes on 'Don Sheridan' design. He has amazing work on his site. His basic class runs 6 days and a project is completed in that class (but don't hold me to it since it is my simplified translation). Did mean to steal your thread Hilly! Happy New Year!
  15. I just brought the picture up and 'right-clicked' to print it out. I then enlarged it to a size I think I could use. I hope this helps. Happy New Year!
  16. Try a sealant on top of your finished color dye such as Neat-Lac or Bee Natural RTC finish. This should help you. I am not sure about Tan Kote because I do not have that much experience with it. As for your second question, that one is loaded. I can tell you what look for, but it hasn't really worked out for me. One thing I have learned is that 'I' cannot do much with Tandy 'imported' leather besides their Royal Meadow line. I have much better luck with Wickett & Craig and Hermann Oak leather. I am thinking of trying out some W/C Chocolate & W/C Russett tanned leather. I know that I have not answered your number 2 question, but maybe someone else can chime in. Happy New Year!
  17. Any Pictures?
  18. I have some double craft aids and animal craft aids that I no longer want. I also have some double doodle pages. Sent me a PM if you are interested. The wife says I got to clean up my workshop area since I rent a little space in the master bedroom. I will have some tools and books that I will be getting rid of them. I will offer them here first before moving them over to eBay. I have read all of the books when I first started and just need to move them on for my other more specialized books. Good luck and Happy New Year!
  19. Geez...that pattern looks ssssooooo familiar. It came out really, really nice Deno. She should be very proud of you and the family tradition you carry on. I really like that Turq color! Happy New Year!
  20. Beautiful projects. I hope to see that clock pattern in LCSJ soon! Wow!! Happy New Year!
  21. Thanks Bobcat Happy New Year to you as well!
  22. I will have to check the two boxes of videos I have. I don't believe they are Bianchi's, but from Pleasant Valley Saddle Shop. Let me check tomorrow.
  23. Looks like a really nice business card to go along with a great project!
  24. Leather braiding book....sorry.
  25. Internet or one of our resources listed above. Springfield Leather Company or Hide Crafter's. Our guild has recently given me permission to liquidate our VHS video library after replacing the how to videos with DVDS. I have Johnson's holster making videos on VHS format if you are interested.
