Wallet made from a computer keyboard

Very interesting site & project, but I have one question? What would happen when I pull my new keyboard wallet out to pay for something and I accidentally hit the 'Delete' key? -

Evening all! As mentioned in a previous thread, I am having a Special Garage Sale to benefit this great forum through us! For all of you new to leathercraft and those climbing a step or too above noobie, look here. I might have something for you. I will be selling a portion of my books, all of my craftaids and some tools. I will be starting with my books and periodicals. I have no magazines since I have shipped most of them to many members on here or donated them to our guild library. But there is a special reason for doing this and it has to do with my appreciation to LW. Okay, here is the deal. For every item sold through this thread, I will donate the funds collected minus the shipping & handling to the Leather Worker forum! Here is my first set of books and periodicals for sale! Leather Animals by Al Stohlman Projects & Designs by Al Stohlman...........................PENDING Leather - The new Frontier in Art by J. I can fit most of these in the envelopes, but some of the larger books will require some other way of shipping. I will do my best! Purchasing: Send me a PM (Personal Message) with your choice and I will provide you a price and shipping costs. I concur....very good customer service, but no experience with their tools. I own quite a bit of 'craft japan' tools.

Once I get done with the books, I will move on to the craftaids and doodle pages. I will, thanks for asking.

First, I would agree a digital book would be your best avenue. More outlets for you to hit up! Second, you know I would buy one!

Have you tried a "gum" easer? It works for me. Also, try some Emery cloth sand paper you can find at wally mart in the automotive section. It will take it off, but be care full. Good luck

I was told to try Lemon juice and it works. Of course, I will freeze it after cleaning and drying it really well if it get semi bad........Really bad, I would follow Mr. Siegel's advise....pitch it! As for Oxalic Acid, I know a professional tooler in North Texas that will use the O/A on every project after tooling and before oiling! I have never tried it, but his stuff is absolutely stunning.....up there with with Hidepounder and Peter Main, so something is being done right. I happen to use Pro Carve in my case water and some water I have in a spray bottle. I have never had any issues with mold and some of my leather has sat casing in a plastic bag for up to 5 days. I thought for sure I was going to have to pitch it, but when I pulled it out.....clean? Again, something is working? Good luck

New Bi-Fold

Interesting pattern on your guts. -
I have some reducer, but never have used it. As for my brushes, I use "The Masters" Brush Cleaner and Preserver. It does as the title says and works on every kind of dye and paint I have used. Plus, you can put some on after cleaning to keep it preserved and coated. I was given my 1.5" "snuff" can size by a guild member who happens to do a lot of other styles of painting. Any art store or Hobby Lobby carries it. Good luck

I can't really comment back on RDB cause I do this as a hobby and give most of my patterns away. For me if it turns out to be work, I already have a job and don't need another one, so I keep it fun to keep truckin! Like UK Ray said, I have personally run into about a handful of people who will not share their stuff on the full spectrum from skills, techniques to patterns or ideas. For me that is cool, but it never hurts to ask. If you get turned down, move on and don't dwell on something you cannot change! I find inspiration from this forum on many of my ideas, but if my final concept come close to or repeating a pattern, I make a college effort to drop a dime as we use to say and ask/advise the original owner if they are cool with it. As for the rest of the forum members, they have shared with me and I have tried to return the favor to others who are attempting to learn as I have been doing for the past couple of years. So, come over to me site and I would be willing to help out anyway I can. Good luck.
