as for the table , i have an adler 30-70 that i'm sewing with 138 on a table it came with , it was gone through after i got it by ralph's in denver . i thought i'd just switch heads till that got old then i'd spring for a nother table . you think. i want to sew with a much heavier thread. i have a pretty good idea what i want . just need to find it. saw the machines that sold at whittmans auction. add the drive and not suure of condition.

i've been looking for a good reasonably priced cylinder arm compound feed machine ,just the head with reverse . i keep hearing about all these deals everyones talking about. all i ever see are new one's at about 2800 -3000 or can a used one be found for 1500 . and is it difficalt to swap out a cluch motor with a new salvo motor. +

yrs ago when I use to work at Pedro Luggage , repairing luggage . we used different rivets , split rivets and also and also the two part rivet with the diamond cap. they're more sizes to keep on hand but finish up nicer we use to buy from ohio bag 35 years ago.

iworked in the field for 35 years and only 6 years ago i found out about solvent #2 you can use it to wipe down leather to remove glue and if you don't get to agressive it won'ty stain the leather . we use it to thin the renia regular glue .even on cream cow after the glues gone it would dry and not leave a stain.

iuse to use barge super speed then masters bought them out and quit making it. went to masters but always prefered the barge. old dogs and all.

I hear the saddle makers are using it some ? Montana leather [ McPherson leather ] says it works.

i have an other the leather strap needs to be replaced and a better attachment for the peddle the bolt or screw, or nut needs to be replaced. keeps comming apart . i have some old harness leather that 1 " and more than long enough if we do this ,we'll use pay pal lets see what shipping will run . i would think you could have a wood worker make one . this ones old but solid though

there was a time when i couldn't get enough of this . i was building custom wrist and leg and ankle gauntletts . if you want to mold extreme amounts this is what you'll find you need. your able to work it into the tight areas . and not show any wrinkles.

oxalic acid works great when after sttreaching or molding leather wipe down with acid solution . then rince with clead water . acid will take all the smuges and marks off the leather . after its set for a fue hours take off your form . aslong as you havn't distorted its shape let it air dry over night . and your good to go

i live in iowa now with friends in sheridan wy and billings mt use to live in belgrade. i'm 66 and retired

i would like to find a good leather sewing machine , cylinder head , triple feed , shuttle hook , nice to have reverse. either the head or the whole set up with table and motor. might drive for pic up. would like to trade . i have a large asst. of old leather harness hand tools. if anyone out there could work with this deal ,let me know. this is some but not all that i have. theres also a stiching horse and a clam both. if we feel we can do this deal ,. i with try and deliver every thing we talk about. at some point we need to swap phone numbers' and hope you don't live to far away.

the hole you punch should never be any larger than the rivet your using. ,if it is good luck keep every thing straight and you'll be good
