  2. Almost finished with a new leather seat with a pinstriping motive for a custom Harley Sportster built by CBB... it still needs to be polished and bolted to the seat pan with brass bolts.. but I have to leave that to the builder.. :-) I learn a litte every time, but still have a lot to learn..
  3. Thanks :-) Yea I wet formed it, then add the licing before the leather was glued to the pad.
  4. Covered a Harley tank pad in leather, and licing... it still needs to be polished to get the right glow tho. The motive is of Midgardsormen (Midgard's Worm) Midgard's Worm were one of the most famous "Worms" in Viking mythology.

  9. Thanks a lot :-) I hope someone will be happy with it some day.. I just made it, without having a buyer.. for practise :-)
  10. That looks really awsome!! How do you prepere the leather and what dye are you using for those solid colors? :-)
  11. finally finished another seat :-)
  12. Just started on a new seat.. in progress :-)
  13. Thanks for info :-) I´m thinking of making a standard one... it´s not for a special bike, just for practise.. and it´s going to be a "price" at a party :-) Where do I find the "$10,000 course on bike stuff" I think this page is a bit diffecult to navigate.. :-)
  14. Hi, does anyone have some measures and maybe a pattern for making a leather tool bag for motorcycle.. the ones that often hang in the front under the light.. :-) I guess there are a lot of different sizes, but I have to start somewhere.. :-)
  15. Thanks a lot :-)
  16. I´m still looking for the good reason.. hehe. I gave it away as a "souvernir" or as a sample to a biker club.. so they can hang it in their bar.. maybe they order one they can use on one of the members bike one day.. :-) if not, they know what time they got their last beer.. :-)
  17. I made hole in the skull and made a clock of it and gave it away.. :-)
  18. Almost done.. just need some polishing :-) Backside...
  19. Thanks a lot :-) I`ll do a test piece and check it out! Preciate your help :-) I checked the scars, and it looks ok.. I dont know how they got there, but.. there they are :-) This is what I have done so far :-)
  20. Gremlin, I got this one.. which is already flat.. and very strong :-) Is this one supposed to be tamped as well, even if it is flat? Thanks for your advices! .-)
  21. Gremlin, I`m not sure what "tamp" means.. My english isn´t aslways the best when it comes to "special" words.. :-) But I guess "tamp" is to tighten it hard? or was it ment to be "damp"? Murse, thanks :-) I like it clean as well, but this is just made for practising, so I guess it wont stay this clean.. I hope it´s going to be cool at the end as well :-)
  22. Started on a new seat yesterday... :-) I`m not quite sure where I`m going or what I will do with it next.. but I`m thinking to cut the leather at the bottom of the seatpan, and use lacing to add it to the bottom part.. When lacing, should the upper and lower part overlap each other or could it work just as well to put them side by side..? if you know what I mean :-)
  23. Thanks a lot mate :-)
  24. the tank looks just fantastic!!
