  2. nothing? I`m sure there are someone out there which have done it before? :-)
  3. Hi there, hop this is in the right thread.. does anyone have a good advice where to see how different lacing is done.. or any good books for it? :-) I`m especially thinking of the different lacing done on motorcycle seats.. :-) but all tips and tricks are welcome .-)
  4. wow, pretty nice!! Awsome lacing job! Can I ask what kind of colors and finish you have used so the color wont transfer to the riders jeans.. :-)
  5. Very nice work, and a sick chopper! :-)
  6. Hi and thanks :-) On this one I just have a template of the seat pan in thick paper.. tooled by hand, measuring now and then, cous I haven´t got the pan yet.. I guess it would be a lot faster to wet the leather to the pan.. but.. :-)
  7. Looks really cool!! Soon you´ll have one very satisfied owner! :-)
  8. Think I`m done for the moment.. until I find another "binding", what/if to do with the light stripe in the middle and find out what to do with the old knots... :-)
  9. Very soon there will be one very happy lady! :-) Good show!
  10. I measured the pieces, cut them out (a bit larger than I needed) then shaped them until they fit with different tools... I didn´t think of to tuck it under the inside, but I guess thats a good advice to try next time.. then I sew it together, glued the leather on and then cout out the leftovers.. :-) just added a blonde.. :-)
  11. thanks a lot :-)
  12. Thanks a lot :-) A little "flame & dame" update..
  13. Next project started.. a leather covered helmet.. :-) and it´s my first hand stitches.. I think maybe I`m going to have some pinup art on the sides, and maybe a flame in the middle part :-) or skulls all over :-)
  14. Hi, what would you guys and girls use and have experience with when it comes to dye a leather seat.. and what finish would you use after, so the color wont transfer.. I guess the rider would be pleased not to have a skull on the ass after a ride.. :-) All tips, experience and tricks are welcome :-)
  15. looks very cool!! Good show!
  16. Thanks for all good advices!! The book and some tools are ordered :-)
  17. Thanks a lot, I`ll check that book for sure :-) So if I understand you guys right, it´s bether to hand sew than use this tool.. I`m going to sew a bobber/chopper seat, and I don´t have a leather sew machine.. yet :-)
