Yes sir latigo, thank you for confirming that! And that is the exact one I have also i really should be asking for more money but like I said, 375 firm A STEAL!!! Such an awesome tool I hate to sell it but I can manage without it as my leatherwork is in a slow period due to work and can manage without it for a bit until I can repurchase one.

So there are a couple of spots I showed in pics where At some point I guess some water droplets landed causing light surface rust spots but that is totally superficial and does not affect the quality of this tool. Here are some pics I finally had time to figure out THE PRICE IS $375 FIRM that is a steal especially since I plan on rebuying this so I am taking a loss for sure as I paid about 500 for it so, there is nothing suspicious about this post just a good deal because I’m in a financial bind that’s all. does anybody else usually ask A seller ( in any market setting) how much they originally paid? Just seems rude to me that’s all but FYI I am losing money in the long run here Not ripping anyone off. I do understand with no pics and no price listed originally questions would arise but I hope I’ve answered them here now thank you and hope to complete this sale PS BUYER PAYS FOR SHIPPING ALSO

Roughly 8.5x11 size pieces of leather in huge variety of finishes, colors, and embossed styles of leather. There are also smal, med, large, and half hides that are 90% intact Oiled, waxed, patent, handbag varieties, almost any type of leather contact for pictures samples are $1.00 each and more for larger pieces

Sorry to take so long to reply but im glad to share my opinion with you.
First, I have zero complaints about the artisan 335 B I love it and am so glad I got it. I actually got the U-shape table but If you are considering transporting the machine then You might want to just get the portable one. After all, although the tables are nice and decent, a table is a table. Its probably better to have the portable one especially if your already tight on space.
You are going to be able to sew ANYTHING once you add the 335B to your cobra. I have even sewn just regular light fabric on it. I also requested the smooth leather foot to minimize marks on leather. Let me know what you decide or if you have any other questions.
P.S.
I live in NH and had mine shipped from Artisan in california so with the table it made for a huge delivery cost (300) but then again I was already spending almost 2k on it so it right?!
I was so excited to get it, whats $300 more?!!

I agree with above comments , wiz and others know their stuff and wanted to add that I personally settled on the artisan 335b. It's just like the cb227r. I never hear too much about artisan seems like people lean more towards cowboy but I'm sure both machines are equally awesome and I can tell you Jerry from artisan is very nice and will always be willing to answer tech questions even on a Sunday while not working

I just purchased the 335B and love it. table attachment for extra cost but turns it into a mock flat bed if needed, also latest version servo eliminates the need for a speed reducer Haven't tried 207 thread yet but they say it can go up to that. -
Hi glenn thanks for the help i contacted artisan and Jerry responded IMMEDIATELY to help me out, sending me new feet and needles/bobbins for the trouble so I'm set now thanks sreve

I received my artisan 335 B yesterday and my "leather presser feet that came with it aren't entirely smooth. I was expecting both feet to be smooth but my inner presser foot has teeth. first time using these so unsure if this is a mistake or am I just unaware...

Need Help Deciding On A Sewing Machine

HI, Im in a similar position and spent months debating models, actually way longer. I was looking at the cowboys and think they look great but realized it might be too heavy duty for stuff thats not multiple layers of heavy veg tan. I talked to many people and eventually came across the ARTISAN 335 B WHICH CAN SEW UP TO 24 OZ OF leather. still havent recieved it yet so i cant telly you any info based on personal experience but it seems perfect to me, can sew light to thick leather, just not crazy thick. there are other similar makes/models to this but this is what i chose. good luck -
What about the fiebings dye reducer? First I'd take the advice of Tom g as he gave photo evidence his method works. I am going to experiment tonight as I have the royal blue and had same problem that I never solved and also have the dye reducer I haven't opened yet. so I'll let you known is it goes Steve

Alway enjoy how experiment dye jobs come out. Usually end up completely different than I planned or intended so sometimes get lucky and have something real neat but usually end up with a piece that is not the greatest, this time I like how this came out. Can't figure out how to add my picture at the moment

I am in your same exact boat and have researched this topic every day for a while. I HAVE THIS FORUM TO THANK FOR CLARIFYING A LIST OF QUESTIONS I HAD learn a new thing about them constantly further showing me how much every style and model were designed to achieve specific functions for specific materials for specific items that need stitching in specific areas. And while any machine can do/sew many things, the point is the more you stray from its primary use the more issues/inability to sew you will have. m finally going to choose I'm sick of the constant debate in my head but I did learn a lot. artisan 335b is what I choose. WHICH IS VERY SIMILAR TO YOUR FIRST CHOICE. IF YOU NEED TO SEW MORE HEAVIER VEG TAN OR THICKER LAYERS THEN YOUR LOOKING AT THE COBRA 4 for those kinds of projectsI think eventually my next machine , (medium-heavy duty) I'll choose a CB3500 or 4500 but one machine Brands aren't as important as functions and thread and needle range are. the rest is just preference on minor (major)details
