@BrickCityBeasts Did you take the large screw out of this clamp? Or is it missing?
-
When you put the needle plate back on make sure the little tab of the bobbincase is in the slot of the needle plate which is @ the 9:00 position. Also make sure it's threaded correctly & that you have enough tension & hold on the the needle thread for the 1st 3-4 stitches.
-
@BrickCityBeasts Glad you like the reducer! You might need to adjust the reverse & foward stitch length ,foward stitch is the lower screw, loosen the locknut & turn the screw to the left, the upper screw in the pic is for reverse. You might need to ajust both so the stitch length is the same in foward & reverse.
-
The best way to adjust this is loosen the screw in the stitch indicator, then push the button in & adjust the stitch length to full length. Then spin the indicator to the #5 & tighten the set screw on it.

Like Gary said you might have to not set your needle so deep. Here's a manual. Bonis manual.pdf

When I ship them double-boxed they weigh 52 Lbs (the extra box & packing weigh 6 lbs) he might want to re-check the weight because he's way off. -

Question about letter codes in a Pfaff CLPMN
CowboyBob replied to Tirediron's topic in Leather Sewing Machines
The only advantage of this machine over the Consew is the higher lift & easier stitch length adjustment. It should take a longer (190R) needle and only Pfaff feet fit Pfaff's so they tend to cost more $.If you were to buy a Juki 562,563,1541 or 1508 your Consew feet will interchange. -

The clamp might be stuck on the shaft, did you loosen the screw alot?If so you could try & put a screwdriver between the clamp & pry it just alittle to get it to open so you can push the bar down.

It is a 205MO-25 that has a top jump foot w/teeth on it made for sewing moccasins, from the factory it will barely sew 3/8".it has feed dogs underneath that need to pull the leather through which can leave marks on the bottom & you could the teeth off the upper foot if there still on it.
-
It's very common for the threads to get broken on the shaft.Be careful when re-installing.
-
When it's up put oil on the shaft(right where it goes into the casting that it rides in) & try to push it down, try it a few times to get the oil worked into the part.

It's possible the inside foot bar is stuck & needs some oil.You should be able to push on the linkage @ the end of the pen & push the inside pressure bar down.Look how far down this one is compared to yours.

Use a large screwdriver that fits in there tightly & you could put a wrench on it while pushing down on the screwdriver will work.

Loosen this screw & push the foot down where it needs to be so it pushes the outside one up.
