This is my own design. It has little blue, purple and green rhinstone flowers on the hearts and delicate stems and leaves for the flowers. I used a kit and designed the cover of the clutch. Loooove it! http://www.etsy.com/listing/50254318/sale-clutch-purse-custom-hand-tooled
Tony didn't have time to teach much about dying. He did give us a few tips that I will use. He is a great teacher and his wife is so sweet.
I hear bison can be very mean with little warning stamped or not! I will post another pic after it is dyed.
Tony showed us some of his flower carvings and the color was beautiful. He also showed us a bucking horse and cowboy that was great. He said Tandy was working on making all of their past patterns available on the internet and some of them would be free. We were all excited to hear that! I have collected some pretty old patterns that I want to try.
I took a figure carving class yesterday at Ken's Tandy Leather in Phx! I had a great time and this is the result. He is not dyed yet. Just had to share this one. I am going to the Wickenburg show this afternoon. I went to High School in Wickenburg.
Hi Fred, welcome to the Leatherworker. It's a fun place to hang out! Some of the Tandy stores in the Phx area have free beginner leather crafting classes.
Hello,
We are looking to start our first website and are just not sure what web hosting service to choose. Does anybody have any advice or recommendations? The choices and options are mind boggling to a beginner. Thanks.
