Stepping down 220 volt to 110 volt may be the issue. Only getting 1/2 the amperage as a 220 connection.

I put up a little frame lean to with metal sides, no heat to house me an office, leather working, some other manly stuff. My wife had a big upright metal storage cabinet like used in offices. I plan to store my leather ( now in living room floor), unused holsters, etc. I am in a very humid climate. Should I put a light bulb or a gun safe dehumidifier in the cabinet to avoid mold? Don’t want it so hot it will dry out or damage leather. I use light bulbs in my welding rod storage but about all you can get now is led or halogen which produce little heat. I have some old style bulbs bought up but will finally run out.

A friend has a Juki LU 562 in absolutely pristine shape with table and clutch motor. I have my well worn Consew 225 with clutch motor and speed reducer. Other than reverse and like new condition, would I gain any capacity buying the Juki?

I started late 50 s with an interest in holsters and being left handed could not find or afford what I wanted. I have not made anything sellable but several quite useful items, some in hard to find styles. Most friends who see them can’t believe I am capable. I often make a nice (for me) item then try to tool it and get a lower quality result. I should probably just stick to plain leather.

Looks nice. I am too short to carry that.

So sorry. People with such strength are so rare.

Found it. Go to menu at upper right, go to account, ignored users, add user, select options. Choose ignore.

I've done that so I don't see the political postings now.
If that ignored person posts something in the main leatherwork discussion I/you has the option to view that posting, or not
I've done it before and when things settled down I un-ignored the people.
For some reason this does not work n an iPad. I think I did it before by hunting up a real computer. If anybody knows how to ignore somebody with iPad please let me know. Thanks.

Only animal ever put me in the ER. Great to be laying on your back in a gravel road, 14 hand colt on top of you, car coming 50 mph.

I hate to copy and paste but I searched for Winterholm Hoof Knife and got like 100 pictures of that tool. Whatever it is its wore out. The internet is rarely correct.

Hoof knife.

I was in a tactical-type gun shop and they were selling gun belts with a steel liner sewn in. Supposed to not sag under weight. Quite pricy. Has anyone made these? What is used for liner? I guess with or without gun it would trigger metal detectors.

I run 138 thread on top, 92 on bottom, sometimes 138 maybe in bottom.

Book should show stitch adjustment. Hold down button in bed ( left one maybe) and turn handwheel forward and back to set stitch length. Numbers on handwheel show setting. Mine lacks the dial.
What is this called and where can I buy it?
