It is really challenging. First match I shot in 2020, was paired up with the National Champion (Philip Hepler). Real nice guy and he gave me some good pointers. Blessed to have him to gauge my progress off of. It is worn around the neck hanging slightly below my boobies. Can be worn on the belt if a belt clip installed. Had one on my test one. It is wet formed and an inch wide, can get my fingers in to pick a pellet no problem. It is a bit deep if the pellets get low, you have to tilt the pouch so the pellets are in the corner no biggie. The magnetic closures for me are one of the nicest things. Easy to open and stays closed and out of the way, and easy to maintain. this is my second one, used my first as a testbed for improvements. Like it more than I thought. It makes it much easier when shooting a lane (hunter class). If you want can give dimensions.

I shoot Field Target and wanted a pellet pouch. Made mine with a tooled veg outer, and Russet Harness lining. Used magnetic closures for ease of use.

Sewed with my cylinder arm and is very finicky for angle a little tilted and it will shift even though the top is on the groove. Having to improve that area.

It is easy to adjust, don't feel like messing with bobbin tension for one project.

You are right tried class 4 with top tensions loosened up. Probably will sew on flatbed to solve problem. Thank you

Started a bag for pens and paper to be able to write a letter or journal while away from home. Plus it just looked stinkin cool. It is fun when two come together. Saw a medic bag that is made for pens, it looked interesting. Went back to the original Swiss Army Medic Bags, the early from the 1940's and later from the 1980's. Liked features of both, so why not combine and augment some myself. The outside is 4-5 oz Herman Oak veg tan, while the inside lining is Wickett and Craig Russet harness veg tan. Thought of doing a carving on the front but the lid covered to much, a basket stamp was chosen. Still lots of burnishing and sewing to finish it. Most of the sewing will be done by hand. Will show the finished item with pens and stuff loaded.

Thank you Thank you, it was a challenge. Thank you, we wanted the art to be the focal point. Finished the notebook cover at 3:00 am this morning. Laid it beside her while she was sleeping. When the cat got her up, she squealed, and slept the rest of the night holding it like a teddy bear.

Started a notebook cover for my wife. She loves sunflowers and butterflies, along with clover and honey bees. Tomorrow hopefully will start on tooling the inside flaps.

Thank you That's a great idea, hadn't thought of that. Yeh the dye went through to the back. it was on the front dorsal fin area. Thank you get lucky sometimes. Finished the wallet, it grew on me as it was being finished. Not that this will be a regular, but may do a few now and then.

Had one of those days! Spent 4 hours tooling the wallet face and was finished. Reaching for the black dye, usually give it a little shake. This time the cap wasn't secure and black dye came out and a big blotch landed on the bass. Sat for a while frustrated thinking about what was going to happen. I am not a painter, I prefer natural with antique. Well out came the paints, might as well take what was going to be scrap and practice so at least some good can come of it. Like Gini said, it is better than with the black splotch. Not to her liking though.
