DC very slick setups love the look of the exotics and the veg taned together im waiting on some samples of different exotics not sure how im gonna like workin with it but ill see what i can do LOL Cowboy316 -

Noah when im burnishing edges i use a bar of glyercin soap after i dampen it a bit i lightly rub the edge with the gylercin soap and use denim to burnish it works pretty slick Cowboy316 -

hey guys and gals got to playing tonight with a tracing of a wild iris thinking maybe i could use it for a bible cover some day i had some scrap skirting leather so i went to work LOL well here are 2 pics while i was working after the carving and after partial beveling and backgrounding enjoy and feel free to hen peck it Cowboy316

hey guys and gals i was bored the other night and thinking bout cheap easy ways to color leather and i thought to myself Self what would cherry cool aide do to leather so i put a packet into bout a 1/4 cup of warm water and the submerged a tooled scrap in it for a couple hours here are the pics right after it came out of the cool aide and the after 2 coats of neats foot oil and the 2 coats of tan coat

all i can say pard it SNAZZY would have never thought to use an old railroad spike ive got a 5 gallon bucket of them in my shop now i know what to do with them LOL thanks for sharing Cowboy316 -

heres a pic of a case i made that with fit the black berry curve phone i can send a copy of the template if wanted let me know Cowboy316 ps sorry it looks beat up but it was scrap so i made it look old and beat up LOL

hey guys and gals heres a knife i got at walmart on clearance for 7 bucks i should have bought all 12 they had but i didnt like the sheath so i made my own drew out the carving pattern and then dyed it a mahogany color and this is what i came up with enjoy Cowboy316
