Sooooo Who's going to test them to see if they work? Lol I'm interested in these, I'm not afraid of snakes at all but I can't hear them anymore. I used to keep a dog around to let me know there is a snake inbound but someone stole her out of my truck while I was at the truck stop using the can. Now I don't have a dog and wouldn't know if I was standing on a rattler until I'm stung. What thickness are you using? Looks like a couple nice wallets there?

Yeah I initially designed them to throw over my 4 wheeler but they turned out too nice to be dragging through the mud and snow Now they reside in the truck It's funny how a project takes on a mind of its own

Thanks Yup, that's my sp101 in 357m, it holds 5 so I can reload 4 times. The holster inside is a generic holster I built with a belt clip on the back so I can Un snap it from the saddle bags and slide it onto my belt when I want quicker access. I also have a home made knife inside with sheath built permanently inside I usually have them draped over the passenger seat of the truck so if I get stranded I can throw it over my shoulder and walk out with my survival gear. They are however rather heavy which is fine for now but when I'm older I'll have to design something lighter.

These took a lot of time But I think they turned out alright. I used oversized cord instead of thread and wish I would have punched my holes a little larger because the cord zig-zags a little but I am happy with the contrast of the white.

I'm in the Bighorns. About a mile away from Kings saddlery. That's funny you mention that, I've done them both ways, I like the looks of the sharp edge better. Thanks for all the kind words.

Ive always wanted a "lone ranger" looking rig but didnt want to spend a lot of money on two 45 cal pistols in chrome so, I picked up a couple of silver wrangler .22lr pistols to play with. Im still new to dots but knew the black on ivory with chrome dots would have a lot of contrast so I ran with it.

Finding one that fits my needs was impossible. My needs are to have access to the paper notebook and the electronic notebook at the same time, most amazon items I found had access to one or the other at a time. Plus with the help of velcro I can tip it up Aframe style for leisure serfing.

Thanks I'm used to using search engines. Years ago I used to moderate a very busy Firearms website(I sympathize with all moderators). I'm sure I'll ask some stupid questions that have already been covered but it will likely be due to no knowing the proper terminology for the thing I'm looking for. I'll apologize now. There is a large resource of information here, every time I start looking for something I wind up going down a deep rabbit hole and still not seeing what I'm looking for. This is like watching YouTube. LOL 6 days later I remember that I need to get some sleep. Lol

I always line my holsters regardless. The rough side of leather is hard on the finish of the pistol. I just started using dots, I've never liked too much bling but am starting to see the benefits. I've been using domed rivets but be prepared to buy twice as many as you think your going to need and keep in mind, they always seem to be in low quantities when I need some. Another thing to remember is to keep them positioned far enough away from the foot of your sewing machine so you don't crush them. Ask me how I know that. I've had to hand stitch in some areas because they were too close.

Hello from Wyoming I still consider myself a newby to leatherworking even though I started about 2 years ago. I've learned about all I can on youtube but think I can learn more directly communicating with the pros on here. I mostly do leatherworking as a hobby for gifts and especially enjoy building holsters and recently a couple scabbard. Its a great hobby during our long cold winters. Lol.
