Tandy?.. here in Oz I should have bought some while they were still open . Ended up making my own, just me and a very sharp knife. Tandy used to sell a 'Lace Maker; which if set up with multiple blades would cut a fringe. I bought a 'Lace Maker' in one of their sales, afair it cost me about £25. With care and attention it is possible to cut lengths of fringe wider than the tool. If you need a lot of fringe buying one of these might be an option. Before I got this I bought a few pre-cut lengths of fringe from a UK ebay seller. I can't remember the price but it was really cheap, like about £5 for 18 inches Closest I can get Quote Al speling misteaks aer all mi own werk..

Its not the thickness that matters; its the temper. It will cut 0.8mm - if its stiff leather, but makes a mess of 2mm if it is very soft It doesn't have to be as stiff as cardboard but not as flexible as a piece of cloth material Quote Al speling misteaks aer all mi own werk..
