Yeah I use the Outlaw. I like it so far (2 years). It is a little finicky about thread tension... Once you find that sweet spot, mark or lock it in place, same with the stitch length adjustment. I went to my local hardware store and bought a few nuts that I use as jam nuts to lock the tension and stitch length adjustments in place.

Very easy to set up and use. Will definitely give you an arm workout stitching a belt. But being able to get it done in 10 mins instead of several hours makes it worth the slightly sore arm.

Have a Tippmann Boss I've had for 20+ years . . . replaced it's work with a Cowboy 4500 . . .

Looked at the Outlaw  . . . and it looks like a cheap chinese copy of the Boss.

Mind you that is an opinion . . . based on observation . . .

The Boss is tried and true . . . the Outlaw . . . well . . . there is it's name.

May God bless,

Dwight

@Dwight, I didn't realize the 2 were so close in spec. I like the look of the Outlaw (and the name) more than the Boss. The feed type seems to be a bit different, just at a glance.

I started out wanting to machine sew leather. Ended up with a 111W while looking at the Outlaw. Something about no electricity appeals to me. Ended up with a 441 clone just because of the small incremental money to get to the next level machine up.

I just screenshotted this pic from a Tippman Industrial video and now I want one mounted on a bench like this in a small trailer workshop!

Sorry for the rabbit trail ...

Not quite the same . . .  but for years this did all my sewing . . . still have it set up like this . . . can remove the little flat table just by taking off a C clamp . . . but rarely found a need to do that.

May God bless,

Dwight

Well, im no expert nor do I own either machine. But in my research I'd vote for the outlaw. It's has a cast iron housing instead of cast aluminum, Has all steel internal parts, and you can call or email the guy who created the machine Ryan Neel. It also has 3 more inches of throat clearance and boasts nearly identical sewing specs to the boss. For me it seems like a better built machine, at least where materials are concerned. My opinion only of course.

I have the outlaw and have been using it for a couple years.  I really like it. I haven't found any negatives so far. Built like a tank. Simple to operate even for me.
