I attempted my first pair of arm guards before seeing your post.

I'll definately need to dial it up a few notches and try your design!

Hello all. Getting into some of these threads, a little on the later side. This is My very First post here. ;-)

That's a very nice archery arm guard. Beautifully designed and finished. 

I would tend to agree about the string slap and archers stance. Please don't stand at a 90* angle to your target, but turn a little more towards the target, which will change the angle slightly of your bow string travel. 

 

What at a great forum. Thankful to be here. Really enjoying it, so far, with its very well rounded membership.

Hi Fred

That is an awesome arm guard! I am new to leather working and just saw this. My grand daughter (12 years old) has been competing in 4H archery for a couple of years and I would like to make her an arm guard like yours. I realize this post originated several years ago. I tried to access the pattern but was not able to. Is it possible to post a new link to the pattern?
