Beautiful work.  One problem though. It's too pretty to sit on. :)

That's a beautiful chair seat. Did you break it in for her? ;-)

You really have gone to a great deal of work, for your wife. I bet she was surprised and pleased.

Happy wife, happy life.

You know, that other chair needs your initial now... Have fun. Hahaha

Edit: you added another pic, so you already reseated them both... Good stuff.

Have a seat, make yourself comfortable.

Those are fantastic, and some exquisite tooling.  They look comfortable to boot!  Wish you were closer, I'd try to spend a day to learn from you!

It maybe just me but white thread distracts from beautiful tooling.

Being married wouldn't have been so bad if I'd been married to a guy like you!  Hope she knows how lucky she is.  If she doesn't like them, they have the initial for my first name on them:-)  Super job!

I generally like high contrast stitching, but you are right, this does draw the eye away from the tooling.   But, it is really good stitching, and makes a nice frame for the tooling, so that helps.  A beige thread to match the leather color might have been better in this regard.  Perhaps with time the white will be less vibrant.  I still really like the entire package tho.

I’m not a leatherwork expert but I know a little about detailed art, those seats qualify as amazing on both fronts, whilst I don’t know you ! I see some perfectionism there! It’s just got that ‘WOW’ factor, well done! I would love to produce work like that, O am sure your wife is very happy!
