Great looking belt, and brilliant insight into doing angled basketweave.  Thanks so much for the detailed info for all of us!  I know I'll be using your method!

Thank you Gentlemen! Glad you found my little how-to useful. And @billybopp, I'm fairly sure that Santa's belt is a plain strap of chinese plastic.

Fantastic!

Consew 227R, Singer 29-4, quite a few embroidery machines and older domestic sewing machines  (Bernina, Baby Lock,  Brother, Pfaff and Viking)
