Members plinkercases Posted January 3, 2019 Members Report Posted January 3, 2019 I just could not bring myself to pay 60 plus buck for a real glue pot as i am not at the bench enough these days.... so after a few combinations of bits and pieces i ended up with a 11 dollar dog kong and 4 dollar walmart spice jar. Bingo. Seals fantastic. bikermutt07 Posted January 4, 2019 Report Posted January 4, 2019 Nice. Quote I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with. Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day. From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Contributing Member JLSleather Posted January 4, 2019 Contributing Member Report Posted January 4, 2019 Sweet. Does it come in colors? Quote "Observation is 9/10 of the law." IF what you do is something that ANYBODY can do, then don't be surprised when ANYBODY does.

Contributing Member LatigoAmigo Posted January 4, 2019 Contributing Member Report Posted January 4, 2019 This is available for less than $20 (including shipping) from Amazon. It is a Best-Test Plastic Cement Dispenser. I have been very happy with it. Quote
bikermutt07 Posted January 4, 2019 Report Posted January 4, 2019 One of the wood working supply places had the gravity style dispensers for like 12 bucks awhile back. But, I can't remember which one. alpha2 Posted January 4, 2019 Report Posted January 4, 2019 Nice idea. Not sure what the effect would be of my dog seeing her favorite toy stuck in a glue pot, though! That Kong is the ONLY toy she hasn't destroyed. Yet. Jeff Quote So much leather...so little time.
