I just could not bring myself to pay 60 plus buck for a real glue pot as i am not at the bench enough these days.... so after a few combinations of bits and pieces i ended up with a 11 dollar dog kong and 4 dollar walmart spice jar. Bingo. Seals fantastic.

Nice.

I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with.

Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day.

One of the wood working supply places had the gravity style dispensers for like 12 bucks awhile back. But, I can't remember which one.

This is available for less than $20 (including shipping) from Amazon. It is a Best-Test Plastic Cement Dispenser. I have been very happy with it.

These work quite well.   I suggest some Vaseline on the threads of the cap to help keep it easy to screw and unscrew.

Nice idea. Not sure what the effect would be of my dog seeing her favorite toy stuck in a glue pot, though! That Kong is the ONLY toy she hasn't destroyed. Yet.

So much leather...so little time.
