Members Josh Ashman Posted February 12, 2019 Members Report Posted February 12, 2019 Chest rig for 3" revolver. My 4" GP-100 is filling in for the customers S&W in the pics. Built out of 7/8 HO and dyed with Fiebings Pro-Oil black cut about 75/25 with alcohol. I added some front and back pics of the holster and speed loader pouches as well as a close up of the back piece. All the best, Josh Quote
Contributing Member Samalan Posted February 12, 2019 Contributing Member Report Posted February 12, 2019 That's a fine looking job . Just started a chest rig for a ruger 44 mag should be fun hope it comes out as good looking as yours ! Quote

Members plinkercases Posted February 13, 2019 Members Report Posted February 13, 2019 Nice classy look and I am fan of harness/halter hardware in straps! Quote
Members SickMick Posted February 13, 2019 Members Report Posted February 13, 2019 Gorgeous! Great work! Quote
Members dikman Posted February 13, 2019 Members Report Posted February 13, 2019 Josh, you're slipping, I found a flaw! Fifth photo, between the two speed holders, your scribed line is wonky! Seriously, very nice work and beautifully finished. Quote
Members Josh Ashman Posted February 13, 2019 Author Members Report Posted February 13, 2019 Thanks folks! I appreciate the comments and Dikman, it's a fair point! Those are my first speed loader cases (after a pair of prototypes fit for dog chews) and I decided at the last minute to try and form the strap loops. Like most of my last minute forming it ended up a little wonky. You'd think I'd learn All the best, Josh Quote

Just one quick question though: John, . . . any chance of a couple pics with it being worn??? My chest rig is a lot different, . . . would like to see yours "in action" so to speak. Thanks, . . . may God bless, Dwight Quote

Members Josh Ashman Posted February 18, 2019 Author Members Report Posted February 18, 2019 Thanks everybody! Dwight, I had to dig a little but here are some old pics of one I made myself for a 1911. Same design for the rig, aside from the holster difference of course All the best, Josh Quote
Members Dwight Posted February 18, 2019 Members Report Posted February 18, 2019 Thanks, Josh, . . . looks good, . . . especially the 1911, . . . my favorite. May God bless, Dwight Quote
