oakenlander Report post Posted October 23, 2020 (edited) The flagship brief . A few small tweaks will be made for production items, but I'm very happy with it. Retswerb Report post Posted October 23, 2020 Clean lines, looks great! Is the inside lined?
oakenlander Report post Posted October 23, 2020 Thanks! The inside is not lined; shows the nice factory finish from W&C.

Hardrada Report post Posted October 23, 2020 That's a very neat piece. But I'd like to see the interior.
toxo Report post Posted October 23, 2020 Very nice and clean. I have one nit pick. It looks like the handle ring keeper goes through a slot and doubles back on itself which would put undue strain on the slot. Please tell me I'm wrong and the keeper strap goes under and back out of the other slot which would spread the load better.

Spyros Report post Posted October 24, 2020 Love it, big fan of the English tan with black edges Brass hardware might also look great
oakenlander Report post Posted October 25, 2020 @Hardrada: Interior shots coming soon! @toxo: Not as much as you would think. Given the placement of the two Chicago Screws and weight of the leather, there isn't much much stress on the interior edge of the slot. It has very little room to move. If the keeper went under, I would need to add two more screws to protect the other side of the slot from stretching as well (if that makes sense). @Spyros: Brass definitely looks good (default option). I wanted a nickel version for myself : )
