Texas Ranger Inspired Threepersons 1911 Holster

Here is my latest completion. It is a Texas Ranger inspired holster done in the classic Tom Threepersons Style. I did a basketweave star pattern on it with a Texas Ranger style badge on the front. 

It rides at an angle that fits good at the 4-5 o'clock position.

Well . . . let me jump in there and say I'm glad to have the opportunity to be the first to say "Well Done"

I'm not a fan of OWB . . . but if I was . . . that one would be high on the list . . . if nothing else . . . a BBQ holster.

Nice looking holster and good workmanship.

Not fond of having the trigger guard open like that.  Snags worry me.

Thanks Dwight. As for the Hurricane, my house made out okay. Office power will be out 4-6 weeks so it's giving me a chance to work on leather more. Lots of people near me have it far worse. Thanks for asking.

Thanks. It's a classic design and the 1911 has the two external safeties. Its a safe design for this pistol but would not want to see it in a holster for something like a Glock.
